Went into Sports direct today and was served by a young lad called Reece, have to say what great service, nothing was too much trouble, did mention it to the manager and was told he had only just started working there, keep up the good work

I placed an order a few days ago and due to some issue I cancelled the order and after cancelling the order when I requested for a refund how much time did you keep me waiting for? Your record in terms of refund claims is very very bad

Staff couldn?t care less when I shopped, I should have taken that as a warning not to buy. I purchased a pair of walking shoes but changed my mind in favour of a pair they don?t stock. Tough do do, they don?t care for good customer relations. Exchange or credit note are the only options they offer. I will never shop Sports Direct again and I encourage anyone reading this to think twice.

The other day as I was leaving he store. I heard the worker who served me, I believe his name was Omar, talking about my appearance. He said to a fellow colleague about how I was fat and "extremely ugly". Never seen this guy before on my other trips into the store. Made me feel really uncomfortable and insecure and I don't want to go back into the store anymore, which is a massive shame as I go regularly and enjoy the products and price.
This is just about the customer service, not the store itself.

Awful customer service.
Steve, one of the apparent manager's being the worst. The trainers i were given were pretty worn on the soles and i asked if there was anything they could do to discount them seeing as they were the last pair. They were taken to this manager who apparently wiped them with a wet wipe and said they were fine. Now, fair enough i could have done that at home and i completely understand that the shoes there all need to be tried on. There will of course be wear on them from this but these were a little more than acceptable so my question wasnt unreasonable. I was made to feel stupid and as i walked out having been polite and accepting, this "manager" made fun of me quipping "did the bloke charge more for my service, should have been £40 for that!" in a really patronising tone. I didnt deserve that nor did i make a fuss so maybe if he could work on the way he speaks to people and his customer service standard, it may show a better precedent in the store he's in charge of? Do better Steve, for all your staff and customers sake.

I share the view of others about the staff at Lincoln Sports Direct, they are rude and lazy, particularly one character who often loitering around the shoes area. He actually told me to go elsewhere for my walking shoes, as the SD offerings were wearing out after a couple of weeks. My latest "fail" is their refusal to answer the customer telephone. Both Lincoln and Worksop calls cut off after ten rings, repeatedly. Great service and high prices at Sports Direct !
