I find myself quite fond of the offerings at Sainsburys it's my favourite of the supermarkets with always wonderful friendly staff especially on checkouts and their own range knocks the pants off Tescos and tastes amazing plus it's a really great price and they have so many good deals with a nectar card. It's a shopping experience that I frequently find myself returning to.

Staff are friendly and helpful, I always shop early in the morning because I don't like crowds but the isles are often blocked with online shopping staff and their carts make it difficult. The white toastie isn't as soft as Tesco though.

Popped in today as near sainsburys to get 2 apple turnovers as we love them. So so disappointing as mainly pastry and only in the middle was the apple and cream. ! Normally buy from the co-op and they are beautiful. Sorry sainsburys but just had to let you know. !

I love this branch of Sainsbury as it?s big and has a fantastic range of foods, even difficult to find tahini and chestnuts that I required for a vegan nut roast. The cafe is upstairs and also has a good range of drinks and snacks. Overall it?s easy to move around the store which is bright and clean. Unlike another Sainsbury that I used my vegetables were fresh and there weren?t empty gaps on the shelf. As you can see from photo in review section there is plenty of parking spaces and inside you?ll find toilets, newspaper, and homeware.

I used to like shopping at Tui, the clothing section of Sainsburys. At this store, the entire upstairs used to have shoes and clothing for men, women and children. All that upper floor is now given over to Argos. There is a very reduced clothing section downstairs which would be OK, but they have now, at the orders from Headoffice, permanently closed the fitting rooms. This is my nearest store and it's a 40 mile round trip, so I am not going to buy something to take home to try on and then have to bring back if it doesn't fit or is unsuitable. And neither am I going to buy something and try it on in the toilet. The ladies toilet has been broken for ages, and the disabled toilet is a dirty disgrace. It may be that there are concerns about theft, but that could be solved by employing someone to count the items in and out of the changing rooms, like they used to when the clothing section was upstairs. I wont be back, not for groceries or clothes.
