“I normally go to spec savers but after a disappointing last couple of visits I decided to give Boots a try.Tom the option was a fantastic lovely and knowledge gentleman who went into a lot of detail explaining the process and results! “A large store that offers makeup, pharmacy and optician services. Huge selection of makeup products and other health and beauty products. Their advantage card certainly helps to improve the value, as some products can be a bit on the pricey side.”

“Small but perfectly formed. Situated at the entrance road to the Co-Op shop in the old furniture and coffin maker workshop. It is all on the ground floor although the servicing area is quite small, no more than 5 customers at any one-time. Due to this there are limited pick-your own items, so it would be best described the pharmacy as a prescription/ non-prescription dispensary.Lack of staff and only one pharmacist can make service slow, but they are very friendly and helpful. Looks to be one consulting room.Access for the mobility impaired is very good and adequate for those confined to a wheelchair without able body help. Large electric wheelchairs (Inc small scooters) would find entrance very difficult.Disabled parking (2 slots) is in the main shop car park and can be a nightmare. It's too small and badly laid out”

The only downside and not really co-ops fault is that if you call at school run time every car park space, including the 2 disabled bays and double yellow lines are taken by mums at the school next door and the shop empty!”

“Our NEW local Co Op is fantastic. It was much needed for the area and is definitely a great addition. It is larger and has much more stock and much more choice. I used to have to go to a couple of different shops to get what I needed sometimes when I didn't want to go to the main supermarket but just needed a few things I had to go to multiple shops but now I can go to our new co op and it's all there. Parking is great, lots of spaces, disabled spaces and access and 2 electric charging bays. Everyday there is fresh bakery items, coffee machine, slushy machine, even fresh free drinking water for customers. The new cash machine located in the back of the shop is updated and easy to use. It's lovely to see our lovely co op workers happy in there new shop. Thankyou for all your hard work setting up the new shop and we hope you will all be happy in your new work home ❤️”

“Clean well laid out shop. Hardly any staff around but I suppose thats what it's going to be like these days. Had to ask lady on till where to find something, she couldn't show me because of leaving the till unmanned. Left empty handed and got what I needed in another shop which had a number of staff on the shop floor”

“This is a good chemist and most of the staff r very helpfull and polite but get feed up with the chemist doctor keep changeing as the custmier gets used to 1 then few weeks later they change again and also the normal shop assantainc they also get moved to the other co.op chemist which is in town”
