Previously I had dealt with a more local Mercedes dealer, but felt I needed to pick up my interest with another dealer. most of my discussions and correspondance was via Luke, Dean and Jack who all have slightly different roles but are all very approachable, listened to what I wanted and were very knowledgeable and professional. a pleasure to deal with Listers of Lincoln. they were good enough for me to drive 3 hours each way to pick up our new Car at the weekend-highly recommended

Agreed the car I wanted with salesman Johnathan G over 2 weeks and arrived in Lincoln for a quick turn round Not so. During the next 3hr 20mins he disappeared more times than Houdini. I did not see my 2023 Mercedes for 2hrs! Eventually, when I did I was ushered straight into the driver seat with JG passenger side now endlessly faffing on with stats and digi tech, that even Einstein would have struggled with. This clearly to divert my inspection of the car. This man JG abused my trust. (The first was the personal car video he had sent me a week earlier 'Cleverly Edited', as I re-ran it later and he multi cut/edited it PERFECTLY to avoid showing anything of the concerns I reveal here!)Even though I was itching to get back on the road after serious issues on the M6 I certainly did not get near the vital information regarding vehicle damage that I should have been made aware of. At this point, sadly I'd taken everything this clever man JG said as Gospel = Huge Mistake!Eventually I hit the road I left the dealership, went off the estate and onto a roundabout to take the Newark road. Whilst on the roundabout in the sun, a crack glistened.. centre middle of the passenger windscreen....A 3cm running crack! I was horrified. I called JG at the dealership. His response was "Yes, but it's been repaired". Nonsense! 5 mins later I pulled up back at the showroom by his desk. I got out, went round to the passenger side. I put my thumb on the crack and pressed it. Crack raced top to bottom.(After 53 years as a pro driver there was nothing I needed to know of the behavioural dangers of running cracked windscreens, but that's another story.)As JG didn't show, I went in to him. He cried a new screen would cost them £1000. Probably what they also told the chap who traded the car into them£££! He then asked for me to claim a windscreen from my new LV insurance sub 20 mins earlier and he would pay the £90 fee! My reply to that was I had NEVER ONCE made an insurance claim for myself in 57 years driving and I'm not going to use his implied dishonesty to start now! He changed tack when he said "You bought the car, How do I know it didn't happen out on the road". I was infuriated, especially as he'd already spouted to me earlier the screen's been repaired! I was now angry and he ducked away to his equally deceitful manager. A while later he came back and said "Pay us £700 with the card you used earlier and we will get it done!" This insulting suggestion made me so angry!! I responded, "Give me my *** car and cash back and I'll get the *** out of here". He went off back to his co-bent manager. A while later he returned with his old sweet persona back on board saying "I'm so so sorry Mr G, but I was under orders by my manager. What we are going to do is GIVE you a Brand New car to go home with". Just like Candy to a Baby he added.. "Probably an SUV. We booked the screen for tomorrow, so no need for you to drive up again. We'll send our driver down with your car and bring ours back!"All upsetting Nonsense for nothing, but to hoodwink and attempt to make a fool of a 74yr old Great Grandfather of 9 who's parting with all but £40k of his life savings!! (The brand new SUV turned out to be a 2yr old C300 shabby dirty staff car!)Driver homed in 6 days later with my car. Driver n I were chatting near the front of the car and again..to my horror, WE BOTH witnessed several deep and touched-up big digs on the top of the bonnet! Which brought me another £400 repair to this awful bent transaction! The in-house Manager-Supported performance needs to be addressed at Listers Lincoln. It was still ongoing for me 3 months later with another issue regarding the mysterious replacement of the spare key!All so sweet was JG pre-sale. After the sale it's like Chalk n Cheese = A Nightmare! I certainly advise extra high caution when trusting certain members at this dealership!Try as I truly did, I could not fall in love with this car.Three mo

I can?t recommend listers enough for your next Mercedes purchase. From the initial phone call through to picking up the car, the service has been personal, professional and pragmatic. I had gone to other garages before who hadn?t listened to the kind of deal I was looking for or the kind of car I was looking for. I dialled into listers, spoke to Jason and Luke. They got me a really good price for my part exchange and offered me a really fair price for my new Mercedes. I wouldn?t hesitate to buy from this garage again and if you?re looking for your next Mercedes, I suggest you do the same.

I was hoping to look at a c-class coupe. I was ignored. No one was on reception. No c-class coupe to view.

I want to say a big thank you to Jason Jones. Even though I didn?t purchase a car, he took time out of a busy event weekend to let me have a test drive in the EQB and GLA class?. The process was very relaxed and nothing was pushed onto you, which was refreshing. Excellent customer service and wouldn?t hesitate to buy a Mercedes from here.

I recently part-exchanged for a new vehicle and the whole process was made stress-free and easy because of Matt Barnes? organisation and attentiveness. I got a great deal on my old car and Matt was never tired of answering my questions and queries. He went above and beyond to get the sale and finance through quickly, and I?m absolutely chuffed with my new car. Thank you!

A very positive experience overallA view around the purchase car felt just a little rushed and I noted once home that some features I was expecting to have on a Premium Plus spec were not present.E.g. power tailgate, 360 deg camera. That said I am very pleased with my new acquisition.

Buy a mercedes you pay for what you get. In for work after a deer strike, might be costly. But its a mercedes, great service, friendly staff a pleasent place to spend your time and money. Always with a smile.

Adam was friendly from the first meeting. He answered any questions we had and was very knowledgeable about the car and also the history of the previous owner. He wasn?t pushy in selling the car to us, which is what I prefer.
