Randomly walked past one evening and decided to go back for a meal the following day. I'm very glad we did. They pride themselves in using their local Nepalese knowledge. This was my first biryani with the sauce cooked in (like risotto). It was excellent. Portion sizes spot on for us, which meant we couldn't sample the deserts.Vegetarian options: A selection of dishes were highlighted as good for vegans, with the offer to adapt several others.Wheelchair accessibility: The toilets appear to be upstairs without obvious signs of a wheelchair-friendly option. The restaurant is on a steep hill.

Best curry I have had in Lincoln during my long stay so far. The waitstaff is kind and helpful. There is a mix of Nepalese and Indian curries. I'm sure all are delicious and I am excited to go back and try more. The spice levels are very balanced and there is a geat variety on the menu.Food 5Service 5Atmosphere 5

Me and my friend were looking for the best restaurant to get some good Indian and spicy food and ended up at Himalayan curry. Tbh, the food was awesome, from the starters to main dishes, everything was so tasty and fingerlickin goood. The manager Shalaka was very customer friendly and did a quite exceptional service. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone who's looking for good food, good service and a good ambience to chill out. The only drawback I felt was they'd have added much more options in the drinks menu.

I don?t normally leave reviews but i think they deserve it. Excellent food; fresh and delicious. Every time we go, the team are very friendly and efficient, it?s one of our favourite restaurants in Lincoln.

Visiting the area with family for Easter so popped in to pick up some take away.Nice ambience, very helpful and easy going staff and seriously good food??next time we visit we will dine in to have some more time for gaph-saph .Dherai dhanyabad.

Step Hill may not be Everest, but the restaurant is perfectly located. Excellent food deserves 5 stars from me, but ... the maître d' who greets you through the window when you come back from a two-hour concert at the Watry Cathedral has 3 Michelin stars.

The lady who was working in the restaurant when I went by was quite helpful in accommodating my vegan requirement. Rather than cream in the korma, they used coconut milk when requested. It turned out to be the most delicious Indian takeaway I?ve tried. Perfect last meal in Lincoln after a week there noticing it across from my airbnb . Thank you

Very friendly staff.We ordered takeout. Had high expectations as the smell coming from the kitchen was amazing.Compared to some others we?ve tried in the area definitely one of the better restaurants for South Asian food.
