The service and humour is one of the best that i've seen. The food is out of this world (myself having their signature gourmate burger). Just everything about it is planned and done just right. 5 Stars, no second thoughts on it.

After my sisters partner raved about damon's to her and they did to my partner, and now all three of them to me, it was my turn to visit damon's, and it lives up to it.
A 50s style diner aesthetic with great food and vibe with movie posters dotted around the restaurant. They have this very cool elevator style light that seems to be used to for the waiters? But it was still cool and matched the aesthetic.
Our server was Charlie and she was great! She was super chatty and friendly and made us feel welcome. My sister in law ordered tons of food for the table for the four of us to share (The starter combo along with the alternative combo) and without skipping a beat and with 0 judgement proceeded to ask what me and my partner what we would like.
We all left very full and very happy!

All the staff team visibly work very hard indeed. A special mention to our server, Charlotte, who was supportive, professional, welcoming and attentive throughout. There was live music, a superb guitarist! There were quite a few birthdays going on which also contributed to a lovely atmosphere. We were there celebrating our grandson's birthday too. We had baby ribs, chicken, onion loaf to share, coleslaw, peas and chips. All beautifully cooked I must say. The grandson had a cheesecake pudding and icecream. They packed most of the cheesecake up for him. His eyes were bigger than his belly. ? . Worth another visit though, for sure!

I?m amazed this establishment is still open, it?s quite possibly the worst restaurant I?ve been to in the last decade. The potato skins were soggy, soaked through with oil. The scampi wasn?t cooked, the onion rings weren?t cooked through either.
The only slightly redeemable quality was the lady serving us who was attentive and very polite. I felt bad for her having to serve people such awful food all day long.
There were three people behind the bar, but only one serving?what a complete waste.
Poorly run and maintained venue. I certainly would never recommend this to a friend.

Just found this restaurant, didn't know it existed, I can only comment on the Sheffield branch, which I miss, a thousand %, food is to die for, service is top notch, the restaurant on the whole was a different wonderful experience, used to go often,, but now it's gone ??, no matter what meal I had, from full rack, to onion loaf, it was all top quality,, and I will make an effort to visit even though I live in St Yorkshire,,, ????

Went for breakfast, have been frequenting this establishment since it opened. Breakfast was passable, but has been downgraded a lot in recent times and is now pretty expensive for what you get. I thought it was ok until the parking ticket arrived today for parking there. We put our details in the screen on entry to restaurant but still have a £100 demand for parking on doormat today. The food is not good enough to be worth this hassle , I will not return and take the risk again. Would like to warn others that even if you play by the rules you may still get ticketed. So don?t bother going.

Not the same.
I?ve been going to Damon?s for years and I mean since I was a child. I haven?t been for an evening meal there though for about 3 and was shocked by how much it has changed when we went last night.
I had really amped up the home made fresh warm rolls with white butter in the dish and the AMAZING home made coleslaw and it fell so short of the mark.
The prices were also exponential and I?m sad to say that we won?t be back and I?ll be trying somewhere else instead.
The love and care that used to go into the food didn?t feel like it was there anymore which makes me sad as it was always the go to for me and I?ve always raved to anyone who would listen about how fabulous their food was.
Our server was wonderful but had only been there a year and wasn?t aware of the previous standard that used to be in place.
A very sad thumbs down for me.

Food was ok very under seasoned, BBQ ribs which are there signature dish were burnt and had an acrid char very expensive soft drinks £5.25 for a pint of tango is outrageous a pint of Guinness was £5.95 and had alcohol in it. overall if you want a sub par American diner experience Damon's is the place

Staying in the hotel for a weekend for our anniversary, went to the restaurant for dinner, the service and food was amazing, the staff couldn't have been any better, they gave fast service and were very polite, The food was lovely and hot and had big portion sizes, and happy hour was a welcome bonus, last time we came here was about 12yrs ago, will definitely be back again soon.
