Usually have no issues at this store, but had a bit of an awkward experience recently. A staff member was overly intense about a situation that honestly didn?t need that level of lecturing. I accepted what he said straight away, but he kept going on, even making unnecessary personal comments and rushing me through the rest of the checkout like I?d done something wrong.
I understand rules are rules ? no problem there ? but there?s a way to talk to customers with a bit more respect and chill. Just made the whole thing uncomfortable for no real reason.

Everything you?d expect. Not the best. The veg section is lacking and the whole store is pretty over priced.

The most frustrating Coop in lincolnshire. Staff have been consistently rude to me in the past, today i thought would be different.
A nice new face who seemed very friendly at first, however once i made my purchase made the mistake of using my dividend points. She told me there was nothing she could do. They could not refund these points without me "calling a number" and that was that and should be on my way. I left and called said number only to be met by a voice saying "there's no manager in and I was coming to see you about your issue but the staff member told me you left". I swiftly went back to the store of course to see what he could do for me and dispute the fact I "just left". The nice chap gave me the CORRECT number to call and apologised profusely, but frankly the damage was done. Especially considering i was not warned that by this time it was out of office hours and will have to wait.
The Coop is a staple of lincolnshire. Frankly it might be time that it shouldnt be, this is only one major issue along side general lowering of customer service quality at other local Coops.
If this issue gets resolved i will delete this review. If not, well you're reading it.
UPDATE; The staff at the store didn't follow procedure and now i need to return there and pay again if i want to recieve my refund. Surely the staff new this? I had to call the head office number the next day only to be told i would need to return. Absolutely shambolic Coop.
UPDATE 2; just had the same mistake happen at Saxilby Coop. The manager resolved the issue immediately. Clearly this particular branch is just awfully trained and managed.

Great local store which manages to squeeze a lot in. I love the local produce options. The staff are always friendly and kind. Although it can get busy during peak times, they are always quick to call extra staff onto the checkouts.

The store is small but there is more to be desired. The staff is nice and friendly.
