Absolutely recommend this place..such helpful friendly smiley staff..?Got exactly what I wanted at a very competitive price..and was then shown around by the new owner..They have everything you could possibly need ..from garden products..to toiletries..batteries..electrical bits..pet food/treats..nuts bolts screws...cleaning products.. cards and wrapping paper..balloons ect ect...Great little Aladdin's cave!Will definitely be back soon..Called again today for some fence paint and tomato seeds..Once again was able to purchase what i needed..?

This place is a little goldmine and has everything that DIYers are likely to need. Why bother trekking into town when you can find supplies locally. The proprietors are friendly, helpful and willing to source stuff they don't carry in stock.

Totally Unreliable!I wish I could leave a positive review as the items they sell are wide ranging and it appears to o be a great store to visit.However... I have been given the runaround 3 times now on when some watch batteries could be replaced.Went in on a Tuesday with my elderly mother-in-law for 4 watches to have replacement batteries fitted. On this occasion I was informed that 'the man' who does the batteries wouldn't be in until the following Monday.Ok, it's only a 6 mile round trip, no problem we'll call in then.The following Monday we went back. "Oh no, sorry, he's on leave with it being half term but should be back next week, you were misinformed last week."So, annoyed with another wasted trip, (12 miles to this point) the watches were left this time as I was assured they would be available to collect by the following Monday.I said I'd be in on the Wednesday, extra couple of days for them to sort it. That's today.Well, on entering I spoke with one of the 2 women present who went off to look for the watches. She returned a few minutes later with them. I said as she handed me the bag, I'll just check they're all working- One was ticking sometimes, the other 3 completely lifeless. On asking if they'd actually been replaced neither woman could confirm this but although it was clear to me they hadn't, I was not allowed to leave because one of them was ticking. I said if they'd been replaced he'd have done them all, not 1 and I know the watches are functional when batteries are live.Clearly they felt I was trying to leave with the items and not pay!?????So, she did then say, Darius isn't in today I'll call him and ask if these have been done.Long and short, apparently he was unaware of these watches, despite them being in a bag, labelled and in the possession of the shop for the last 10 days.Needless to say I told them I would take them elsewhere. 18 miles of wasted journeys over 3 weeks!My mother-in-law reckoned she'd always taken them here but I've since read that ownership has changed.It seems to me that internal communication is a bit of a problem and when is Darius actually available because I've been in on a Tuesday, Monday and then a Wednesday over 3 different weeks?!I suggest if you can't provide a service, remove it from the options available to customers. Save us the hassle of wasted trips and your business appearing unreliable and incompetent.

A great place to shop,helpful,friendly staff.If you cannot find what you are after,the staff are happy to help.It has lots of item in store.Which means it has little room inside to get a wheelchair in it.But I'm sure if you asked for assistance then the staff would try their best to help.5*

I absolutely love this Aladdin's cave of a shop. So much choice and the staff are super friendly. I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting any DIY or cleaning products as well of loads more things. It's also great to support a local business.?
