I have donated all my furniture and this was the situation when BHF left my house. The two guys from the collection made my carpet dirty. Unbelievable.

Excellent-value furniture, and I personally found the staff pleasant, courteous and helpful. I bought two kitchen chairs, and I'm very satisfied.

The British Heart Foundation in Lincoln is extremely expensive. It was cheaper for me to buy my items brand new. I have been there multiple times, a few of the staff are downright rude. My friends in other towns and are amazed at the steep prices BHF Lincoln offers.

I would like to send thankyou to all the members of staff at your Lincoln branch. I recently purchased a new double bed which was my first new bed since leaving home at 17. I am now 66. The lovely delivery drivers went out of way to help. Especially when carrying my other purchase of garden furniture down the narrow passage to the patio. Thankyou so much Sue Bidmead

Helpful staff, kind and knowledgeable. Prices do seem rather high for a charity shop that should want to clear stock and raise funds quicker. Tends to have a lot of people having a browse and leave. I was in there for about 10 minutes at one point and at least 30 people came in and left.

I don't have a problem with BHF Lincoln, it's just their delivery contractors who damaged the fridge freezer and damaged my floor. The contractor owner came to my home and promised to pay for the damage then when I accepted his offer he completely ignored me. I have the phone texts to prove it too. Maybe if the contractor had used a trolley instead of braking health and safety regulations then maybe my home and the goods might not have been damaged by them....

Being in a power chair has its disadvantages in this shop due to the overstocking on occasions to the shop floor. Small spaces means not being view items.

Off hand collection service, you can be forgiven for thinking they are so pedantic on purpose so they don't have to take your goods to save them lifting.

years ago charity shops were very cheap that was in those times when to buy a iron, or toaster would cost a arm and a leg by today's standards. People use to kit their whole family out and their home. No way ever would it cost more to buy from them, than to buy newCharity shops are suppose to help two ways, one for their charity the other for local people who can not afford new.. but now its cheaper to buy new than in the charity shop.. Madness Things ive given to charity shops they are selling for more than I paid for them new.Soon charity shops will be closing down and it will be their own fault for not moving with the times. Sell more at lower price and make more money

I had arranged for BHF to collect a sofa of mine that is a few years old. Had an informative call before the collection with the store, and the lady was very pleasant and helped me work out whether or not my sofa was suitable for donation. After explaining there were a few worn patches (leather does wear) she said it was absolutely fine, as long as it was comfortable and not broken in anyway, that it would be fine. The delivery drivers turned up - poorly dressed, scruffy and rude. They called a few minutes before their arrival and it was a curt conversation with no pleasantries at all.On arrival at my home they physically laughed at my sofa, said it was in a state and they wouldn't take it or they would get fired. I've never felt so appalled - I look after my furniture and belongings, and this particular sofa had been regularly conditioned. I could have sold the sofa for between £100-£300 second hand, but decided it would be better to give to charity so a family could have a sofa at Christmas. Couldn't wait for these awful men to leave my house. I understand it's at the drivers discretion but it was a good quality sofa, with many years of wear left.I called another charity shop and delivered it to them, and they were delighted at the sofa. Clearly there was nothing wrong with my sofa. I know which charity I will be donating to in future.
