“Generally speaking, one can count on finding something good to read in a bookshop. Bookshops are, after all, reasonably magical places—a terminus for flights of fantasy, portals to other worlds, or jumping off points for deeper dives into our own world. (I should know; I’ve worked as a bookseller for most of my life). Lindum Books, while being no exception to these expectations, is also very much an exceptional stop along your travels—whether you come from far or near. The owner, Sasha, is a warm and wise guide. I enjoyed a delightful visit. And came away with a renewed joy in discovering another treasure house for the mind and imagination… as well as some books I heartily look forward to reading. “Would like to thank a staff member who helped me on Friday night (21st) about 4pm - I think his name was Michael.
I’d went in previously in the week and picked up some stickers I really liked but couldn’t find them on this visit, I described them to him at the till when I was checking out some other items and he went above and beyond and looked through every single section with me for another set of eyes. We didn’t end up finding them unfortunately (I must’ve bought the last ones earlier in the week!) but I was really grateful for the effort and time taken to help.”
