I started with blue bird care in January of this year and it's the best career move l have done. The management staff made me so welcome on my first training week in Lincoln, so understanding and talk things through so you understand the job roll. The carer's are fantastic to work with and l found them to be a fantastic bunch of girls to work with, very surportive. The mentor for Boston, that's the team l work for, is a very professional and makes sure you are ok with everything each week. l love blue bird and l love all who work with me great company to work for.

My husband?s carers are from the Boston group. We were anxious when he began needing help as he?s now bed bound. The team are marvellous! So friendly, cheerful, professional, encouraging - what more can I say? We simply couldn?t manage without them. Look forward to their visits. Always leave my husband feeling more positive. Thank you.

l have worked for blue bird care since January of this year. l would like to say the management are brilliant, they really made me feel welcome during my first week of training in Lincoln.
l also would like to say my team mates are fantastic, really great to work with and nothing is too much to ask if you feel you just need that helping hand. l work in Boston with a fantastic team and management.
my mentor for Boston is a real asset, each week she will check you are okay and make sure you have no concerns.
l would like to finish by saying the move to go and work for blue bird care was the right one a fantastic company and l am loving each day going to do my job it's a privilege to work for such an outstanding company.

Since starting my care there has been some nice staff.But I went to a n e today and they couldn?t come with me and they never asked what was wrong or if I?m okay
Generally feel like they don?t car when they come around mine they must have 3 cups of tea in one visit and it?s making me need to buy milk all the time
With the cost of living it?s making it hard to afford all there drinks at mine
Also they just seem to drink tea and chat for most of my visits not all of them but 2 in particular

I've not been with Bluebird for very long, I've had some really good care staff, there has been teething problems over my care package which I felt could have been addressed and high chance of been rectified.
However since one member of staff joined there has been major issues and concerns, I've tried endlessly to get myself heard, respected and for others to understand and working relationships have dissolved badly.
I now feel I can't even go to certain office due to what's occurred especially now, I've bought in a substantial package with around £4-500 a week that's being paid,.
I feel I am a customer, you don't in any company or any service treat customers as ive been treated especially for a lot of money and hours.
I'm not recieving any amount of care now from my care support plan and there was really urgent things that needed to be addressed.
I've got people outside of this company wanting to contact social services because of what they are seeing as they have been to my house and extremely worried and concerned over my health, wellbeing and deterioration and seeing the chaos an mess being left as not the support.
I've tried to sort this amicably and with this company but to no avail, I've tried the national Bluebird company to get assistance, that's failed to.
I'm doing this now to make the owners aware of what's going on in your company with a paying customer as if you didn't have customers you wouldn't have a business, whatever is going on behind the scenes it's effecting your customers and you could lose them.
I won't deal with anyone unless they are high senior members of staff now like the directors or unfortunately if not possible there will be a high chance of losing my custom altogether, on a whole Bluebird is potentially good, but my experiences especially of late have been impossible and quite poor.

I started working with the Boston bluebird team beginning of June after never working in care before. I can honestly say they are the most amazing bunch of people I?ve ever had the pleasure of working with/meeting. From day one I was made to feel so welcome and a part of this caring family. I have been given so much support in learning and progressing into the role and I am now a confident carer who absolutely loves their job. Coming to work everyday doesn?t seem so much of a task when you come to work and have fun at the same time as providing top class care to our customers, who we all cherish dearly. Thankyou to the Boston bluebird team and all out lovely customers for making every working day a good day.

I am the newest member of the Boston team and although it?s only been a month, I have met some incredible people during this time! The training I received before joining was very informative and made the first week on the job less daunting, especially after not working in care previously. The team are like a second family and all go above and beyond without question. Each day is different working in care but with such an amazing team and customers around you, you?re always having fun and learning. I hope to be with Bluebird for many years!

I?ve been working for bluebird since February 2020 and it has by far been the best job I?ve been in. I came in new to care and although it was daunting, the training and support has been fantastic! I?m part of the Boston team and they are the best bunch I could ever ask for. Always a smile and a laugh. We?re all there for each other through the good days and the bad, helping each other when needed, there for help and advice, nothing is too much trouble. The customers we have are just the best, always thankful for everything we do, no matter how small, always telling us how much they look forward to our visits. My supervisor Rachel goes above and beyond for all the Boston team and customers, always there at the end of the phone if we need her, even checking up on us just to make sure we?re ok. I feel like I?m where I need to be with bluebird and hope to be a bluebird for many years to come :)

All the girls from the Boston Team, have been very good in doing all the jobs that I've needed. They keep to the times and always ask if there anything else to be done. I always have a good chat with them. After 2 weeks many remember what is needed on each visit.

I have worked in the office for Bluebird for just over 2 and a half years. All staff are so welcoming and friendly and very supportive. From the carers right through to the managers everyone works as one big team!

I would avoid this company at all costs. I worked for them for 1 year and 4 months. During this time I was expected to work a higher amount of hours, at time 68+ hours per week as well as being expected to drop everything with little to no notice to cover staff absence. High staff turnover as well as a constant unsafe staffing level lead to these house being almost always expected of the staff. I have since left the company and have still not received my wages. Avoid, avoid, avoid!Edit: in response to the below comment. I have been in touch directly to no avail. I have contacted via email and telephone with no response or resolution. This is not an isolated incident as there are other members of staff that have since left the company for similar reasons all of which are experiencing the same problems leaving you short staffed.A complaint has been raised with ACAS due to your lack of contact and resolution.

I have worked for a few care companies but none were as good as bluebird! I am one of the members of staff at the bluebird team in Boston and I honestly can say I have never been so happy in a job. The carers in the Boston team are unbelievable! They have supported me with my move back to Boston, financial difficulties from the cost of the living crisis, and struggles with home life. I go to work every morning with a smile on my face, and coming home after a long day with a smile still there is something I had never had before. The customers are amazing and you can tell they love every single one of their carers. This team is so driven and determined to face whatever challenge they face and endure every customer is provided with the best quality of care they can.I have seen a few company?s who I thought were good? but bluebird have outshone each and every one with there passion for care!I would recommend bluebird for anyone who is looking to get into the care sector as they will support you and with the same compassion as their customers!Moving back to Boston was a big thing but having a job with bluebird care made it all the more worth it!!??
