I visited here today to pay a bill; only one member of staff serving as this branch is now reduced to only one counter operating... the staff here expect you to use the machines but because I had coins to pay a bill, I was in the queue for nearly 45 minutes, for something that only took 5 minutes when I was eventually served. For the size of Lincoln I find the Barclays in the high Street very poor service. Thank goodness it is not my regular bank, otherwise I would change.

Went in to the Lincoln branch today and a lovely lady called Hazel who is a real credit to Barclays. Hazel's customer service was amazing ?

Went into Lincoln branch to open a saver's account. No queueing system. Friendly staff, I must say, though their roles appeared to be totally undefined and chaotic. I was half helped then left to queue for 40 minutes with no direction to complete part 2 of my epic odyssey. A deli style ticket system might be of some use here, as well as more staff sat at desks and clear signage. Got there in the end, but 1 and a quarter hours to show me how to open a savings account using my own Barclay's app? Really?

Been into the branch twice and been given two completely different answers in regards to cashing an executor cheque. Both times I?ve had to travel over 30 minutes into the branch and both times I?ve come away without success.

Worst experience ever. I?m a student and struggling with money, I have come in 3 times to sort an overdraft out. Each time I?ve been turned away. One of your employees, Tracey, made me go behind someone who had been in the queue for less time. I was very upset and the woman seemed to jump at the occasion to push in. But it therefore made me wait for another 20 minutes. I think this branch needs closing down, and certain staff members need a lesson is customer service and being kind.

Nice large bank, but they want customers to use automated machines, so there is only one member of staff dealing with a queue of people who have the need of a non automated service.

Rubbish service only one till open, not open on Saturdays and now Thursdays as well. Will be changing my bank to one that gives a better service.
