Horrendous experience at the B&Q ! purchased a can of paint which spilt in my car not having even left the car park, went in for help and they refused to help me? One girl was willing to help me but was told by the manager she wasn?t allowed to help me, wouldn?t even give me gloves. I had more help from customers in the car park.

160625. I've added a star due to the fantastic help I received from two female supervisors. Could not have been more helpful.
This is one of the bigger stores in the wider area. Well laid out (mostly) with friendly and helpful staff. Especially like the former trades persons dotted around the store who can provide the novice DIY'er (and younger staff) with helpful advise. Whether by design or accident this is a very welcome service.
Although somethings can be a little more expensive (worth checking on line) stuff is normally available when you need it. This make it an ideal first goto place if you need something for a project.

I have recently a superb customer experience with B&Q Lincoln, i have put through an order in the shop where accidentally they used my last delivery address on the order instead my actual address. When the driver was calling at me we found out about this issue, instead he cancel and reschedule my order he searched for my address and he found out he could deliver to my actual address instead. David was super nice and provided me all the experience what a customer wish to receive during an issue. So I would say thank you for David and the Lincoln team on Easter Monday for the quick solution.

I have shopped at B and Q most of my life. I have always found staff,helpful,knowledgeable, and polite. My most recent visits,I had the misfortune to be served by the most obnoxious person I have ever met ,in my life. He seemed to have this attitude that he was always right,and then lectured me on " reading the Internet correctly " as I had the nerve to enquire about some item. He then proceed to tell me that I somehow insulted him last time we meet,saying that the other customers though I was being rude to him. Needless to say,having read other comments about this person,I am not alone in my judgement of his "ATTITUDE, " to customers. I will never shop in Lincoln B and Q, again. Might visit Gainsborough though,staff there are always polite. I would not recommend shopping at the Lincoln branch.

The older person on the nuts & bolts isle is a legend and knows their stuff. Came in this morning with a rogue bolt I needed more of; they took it from me and within seconds had a pack in my hand. Top service ?
