Big shoutout to Al and Benton in the kitchen ? most of the food was spot on! Fresh, tasty, and cooked perfectly. Only slight letdown was the Frutti di Mare, which just felt a bit plain and lacked the punch you?d expect ? kind of just a basic tomato pasta. But overall, solid job!

Went as a family for the first time at this location. The service was good however 3 out of 5 of us got food poisoning of which we just recovered. We did not eat anything after so we are sure that we got bad food at this particular place.

Ordered a £17 pizza, it was gone in less than three minutes. It lacked everything, did the waiter drop my toppings on the way to the table, seriously pathetic pizza. We wanted to go to pizza express but it was fully booked unfortunately, their pizza?s are a challenge to eat, bursting with flavour, and crammed with toppings. We will not be returning to Ask Italian ever again, even if we could have gotten the 30% student discount I still would have felt robbed.

Went here last night with my two good pals and it was underwhelming to say the least. The atmosphere and service were ok but the main issue was the food. It is simply overpriced and underwhelming.
The pizza? What pizza? There's nothing there. It's like someone bought a morrisons pizza and removed half the toppings then served it to you on a square. Dissapointing. If the pizza from Ask Italian were a movie it would be 'Gone in 60 Seconds' but sadly there is no Nic Cage to put a smile on my face.
The dough balls? Perhaps the saving grace of the night but nothing to write home about.
Diet coke? Legendary as always. Can't complain really but the bottles do mean you get less liquid for what you pay for.
£25 for a pizza, side and drink is far too expensive for what you get. Absolutely not generational.
Pizza Express was unfortuantely booked up in Lincoln but I would have gladly driven to Newark to eat Pizza Express there rather than Ask Idiotic.

The food is probably the worst version of Italian cuisine I have ever had the displeasure of eating. £16 for a pizza and £16 for microwave pasta which was made with synthetic ikea meatballs is appalling. Even with the blue light card discount the nutritional value is about the same as a Mac Donald?s.
Avoid. It?s crap.
