Goldmine of a pub. Amazing food, great prices. Been a couple of times, had burgers, steak and even the jacket potatoes, all great value and well presented with good portion size. Friendly staff.

The gravy alone makes this place worth a visit.
If you're looking for a place that will serve you a Sunday roast like your Nan used to make, this is the place for you. Delicious.
Dog friendly as well (our dog enjoyed our left over beef nearly as much as we did).

This is the worse meal on a steak night that we have ever had at the Wheatsheaf ordered 2 sirloin steaks and we both think we were given two tuff rump steaks really bad no opology

Had a meal here yesterday it was pleasant enough the food was good. The staff were okay but I think some training in customer service wouldn't go amiss. The decor and atmosphere were okay. Price was reasonable. We Would eat there again.

Went at lunch time food , all cooked lovely

Called in with some cycling friends on a Derby to Bristol via lots of places tour last Thursday for some lunch and a couple of pints. Very friendly staff and a good selection of food. I could not have my prawn sandwich as the delivery van was late only for it to turn up as I tucked into the Tuna replacement - bugger . Hope to get back again in the future as well worth a visit.... Thanks

Rubbish!
Inedible meat. No vegetarian option. Table next to kitchen.
My friend was treating me. She paid for what was only 2 plates of vegetables and our drinks. Someone wrapped the meat for us. Absolutely no concern or apology. Waste of time and money. Spoiled my 89th birthday.

Firstly, the view of the train that passed was rather amazing. Found based on the stars and menu, the first place we tried while here in Boston. The food was amazing, we were spoilt for choice with what to have. Some really good home cooking with decent portion sizes. Staff were friendly. Would have gone back but we ran out of time!! Would go back and would recommend
