We celebrated a 50th birthday and nothing was too much trouble, service impeccable, food awesome, and ambiance perfect. Ambrish catered for 10 and the food came together and was absolutely lovely. A perfect end to a wonderful day of celebrations. Can?t recommend Kirton Cottage enough! Thank you so much. We will be back!

Found this absolute gem of a restaurant the service & ambience is exquisite then the food arrived exceptional, the starters were sublime we had the scallops & sole fillets they were sensational!! Main courses consisted of Mushroom Wellington & special of the day duck breast absolutely delicious & all ingredients locally sourced. We are only in the area for 3 nights & we've booked to go again!!

Lovely cauliflower cheese which was very fresh and tasty as was the vegetables but not really keen on the rest of the meal. Sadly wont be going back

I could nitpick and say it would be nice to have draught beer available, or that the rack of lamb was a little on the small side, but really, the attention to service and quality of food is excellent. It?s quite formal so the kind of place in my opinion to go for birthdays, dates or special occasions.

Beetroot Wellington comes highly recommended from this restaurant in Kirton, Lincolnshire for all you veggies. It came with cheesy leeks and creamy sauce. A vegan version is available too! The roast beef lunch was fantastic and generous. A reasonable selection of wines to help wash this down. Some of our party suffered a car breakdown on the way and the chef and staff went the extra mile to allow us to take their roasts away (not a usual service, they took pity on us as time was running out). Thank you Kirton Cottage, we will be back! Service was good too and we do recommend! Thank you!

Second time of visiting for Sunday lunch yesterday , this time with my Son and daughter in law who are ( very ) fussy ! Both loved the food, service and atmosphere and the attentiveness of the lady who served us along side the younger waiter who was more than happy to meet our requests.

The service exceeds that at the Ivy in both Cambridge or Norwich. There was a good variety of traditional dishes on offer. The food was very good indeed but the vegetables could have been more interesting. I would definitely recommend this place.
