What can I say about the four cross roads pub?
Well the outside seating area is poorly designed for starters, benches that you can't move because they're too heavy. Benches that act more like a fun fair ride trying to tip you off due to uneven slabbing. There are way too many tables pushed into one space, the one in the corner where you can only be a size 0 and below to even get in.
The menu is very meat and fish heavy, there is only 1 vegetarian dish on the menu. Nearly everything comes with chips, however everything looks homemade. The portions are a good size for the price, the plates are a bit hit and miss. Massive and heavy plates, large plates for small puddings are a bit overkill.

Just been for carvery and was very impressed.
Everyone super friendly, food was tasty and plentiful. One small comment.. if you get your toasties nice and crispy and crunchy on the outsides I would give 6 out of 5 stars!!!

Excellent Indian buffet. Dishes I hadn't heard of before, service Excellent. Well worth the drive from Skegness. Recommend booking or ringing first to check they aren't booked up.

Excellent food. I am yet to eat off the main menu because the specials always appeal to me first. We have done the indian buffet, the roast on a Sunday and a Wednesday and the hog roast. All have been the best food, this place will be my first choice for food!

I booked a table for over 30 people the night before my wedding. The venue were incredibly helpful in the lead up to the day and while they were incredibly busy on the night, the service and food was excellent. We had a few hiccups, but these were rectified immediately and in a professional manner, it took a little while for all food to be delivered to the tables but with such a big table, that was to be expected. Overall, we all had amazing food, amazing service and a wonderful night. I would highly recommend eating at the Four crossroads. We're going back for a Sunday roast and I can't wait.

Absolutely Sensational, we booked a table for 4 on Friday. We were shown to our table and the restaurant was very accomodating to make sure we were cool in the hot weather. And then thematic happened 4 plates infinite poppadoms & dips, starters, curries and rice. The meats were all cooked perfectly, rice fluffy, onion bhaji crispy to be honest it was the series curry I've been for. Highly recommended and we will be back.

Great food and friendly atmosphere, we've come a couple of times now, on a Saturday for the hog roast which was lovely and on a Friday evening for the all you can eat Indian Buffet and it was superb! Will come again.

Came here 10/08/25 for a birthday meal. We all had carvery and honestly it was one of the best carveries we've ever had. It was busy but it wasnt over crowded and noisy, everything just ran smoothly. Service was all well set out and all the staff was nice lovely and polite. We will definitely be coming back again soon.

Dined here for the curry buffet (available on Friday evenings) it was spot on, the choice of meat, fish and vegetarian options allows for anyone to dine here, this is by far and away the best quality buffet we've ever tasted. This was not our first visit, they do not dish out the same old menu every time, it's a lovely surprise to see what is put out on each occasion. On to this particular set of dishes, I will mention one in particular, the pork vindaloo, perfect spice, quality of meat and texture, it's up there with some of the very best restaurants. Final comment, the price point is very competitive, it's great value.

Wow! This was literally the best carvery I?ve ever eaten. The service was friendly, staff were so helpful. There was so much choice for vegetables and unlimited amounts of Yorkshire puddings. Thank you so much

A lovely clean, welcoming place. Staff really friendly and the food is always perfect. Worth the two hour drive from Suffolk just for the gravy! Delicious. Would highly recommend.
