9 family members ate here and all were happy with the food they received. I had a burger which was really tasty.The service was fairly quick and friendly.

11 o clock not many in but all tables reserved why you always fill the place without reserved tables really disappointed been coming for Sunday lunch for years 21st January.

Food was vile, couldnt even be described as mediocre as its was so vile I wouldnt give it to a dog. Manager not very receptive. Waiter was pleasant though but it was out of his hands... bowl of chips came out with a parsnip in them. Steak was so tough it's was a joke. Nachos cheese was microwaved and no taste. Chips looked like they had been laying around since lunch time. Avoid!!

What a great pub. We visited 2 days over the weekend while staying nearby. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, fun, and fantastic music. The smell from the Sunday carvery was so tempting. Would definitely visit again Oh, and don't forget to have a toffee vodka shot.

Decided to leave Butlins site & pop in here for breakfast.. got to the door & incide stunk of urine & sick..I'll stick to the boathouse in future..

We were staying at butlins on a 80s weekend and thought we would leave site for a change so a short walk we found this brilliant place. The atmosphere was brilliant on the Saturday afternoon we arrived at about 1pm and stayed until 6pm and it was that good we came back on the Sunday for six hours. The staff are so friendly and hard working. We will definitely recommend and return we will pre book our favourite table number one.

Dropped in for lunch . Very loud inside . Carvery very poor. Only allowed 2 small roast potatoes, meat options chicken or turkey pieces, Vegetarian option was a vegetable lasagne , which I would not call a lasagna. Small pieces of peppers In tinned tomato and a beige sludge on the top which resembled mashed potatoes?? Don't know didn't eat ! ? . Disappointed . Loss of custom , not good Disappointed

Had the 2 for £14 was really impressed of the quality me and hubby had fish n chips and was best fish I?ve had for age?s lovely crispy batter sauce since n had ham egg n chips the ham was nice thick hand carved again beautiful daughter inlaw had sausage mash again lovely creamy mash n meat gravy definitely worth a look

A great place of your looking for daytime entertainment. They always put a singer on in the afternoons. Good atmosphere when they draw the crowds from butlins weekenders. The only downside is the music is often very loud when your sitting inside. Wine prices good. But avoid a double gin and tonic £9.

Been here since Monday. Been in this pub for various meals and drinks everyday. Called in for dinner today. Ordered bangers and mash and half way through my meal there was a fly sitting in my mash not on top but inside. Asked to speak to management who was useless. Nothing resolved. No apology. Was just offered ice cream as a sorry for a £12 meal, baring in mind in 3 days we have spent hundreds. No remorse for anything at all. Point blank refused a refund on the one meal with a shocking attitude. I would avoid this place as much as possible. Shocking customer service. Will definitely never be returning. Management need to learn some better customer service skills as not another penny will be spent here.

I am currently staying on a weekend away at butlins and have decided to come for a meal with my family at the beachcomber inn. Upon this experience I ordered a steak with added scampi cooked medium rare, as you make be aware this is an £18 + meal all together as well as 4 other meals and many drinks. However, upon receiving my steak I was greeted with what I can only described as an uncooked stone cold pile of grissle, as well as stone cold chips and peas. I can give credit to my mediocre size portion of scampi however as a full grown adult eating £18 4 pieces of scamp did not touc the sides of my stomach. The real issue besides the inedible food was the sheer rudeness and appalling attitude of the shift manager ! Description: Tall, lanky, ginger short reciding hair, glasses, stubbly moustache and goat like beard, timid and extremely quietly spoken to the point a church mouse would be louder. He didn?t offer as much as an apology and his only solution and problem solving skills expanded to a free slush! Now upon my £18 mush for food a free drink worth the value of a child?s slush is simply not acceptable as well as his appalling attitude. Working in a pub myself I wouldn?t put this man in charge of cattle never mind a busy pub. Simply appalled by my experience and simply not good enough. I will be putting an online review to not recommend this place. UPDATE: complaint was lodged (the above) nothing was resolved after contacting direct.

Did Butlins 80s weekend and was told to come here for drinks & Sunday Dinner. We just had drinks but the portion size of the dinners where amazing and smelt great. Fun afternoon with DJ's and Karaoke. Small Queue at the bar but sorted quickly. Had breakfast here as well and cant fault it.

Popped in for Sunday carvery and bank holiday entertainment.. the carvery was good but all veg was boiled nothing roasted. Meat was good and portion size for £10 was worth it. Beers good, atmosphere was good. Karaoke was ear piercing but we had a good day there. Thanks again.
