Having visited Beeston Rise recently I was so impressed with the management, the facilities available for residents including cinema, spa, hairdresser and balconies to bring the outside in. The decoration and cleanliness was second to non. Spotless with, caring members of staff and very happy residents. It felt as though we were looking around a hotel.Well done to everyone involved

Both our parents have lived at Tanglewood Care Home, Horncastle since June 2021, firstly in one of the lovely independent bungalows and latterly in the Care Home. After providing feedback about previous management in 2021, the Tanglewood Leadership team took swift action to make positive changes. Since Susan Hughes took over as Manager in 2022, no further issues have been identified and the care home has gone from strength to strength. Susan is always available to discuss any concerns we might have about our parents declining health. Our parents are both well looked after by a caring and stable healthcare team who look after their health, personal hygiene and daily living needs as well as providing emotional support. When we visit, we have a friendly relationship with the team and are given regular updates by employees who have a professional and personal watch over them. This in turn gives us greater piece of mind that any changes to their care are quickly actioned. There is a weekly entertainments programme that provides opportunity for companionship, fun, movement and religious observance, as well as Open Days for relatives and friends to support the home and join in the fun.Last words come from our father who is regularly heard commenting that ?We couldn?t have gone anywhere better? and ?The food is b****y good here!?

I'm a regular visitor from therapy dogs nationwide with Archie ? we thoroughly enjoy our visits here. The home always smells fresh, its clean and tidy along with the residents rooms. The staff are always very welcoming to us, they are smart and very friendly. The residents are always clean and well dressed. There is always staff available in the corridors/near the rooms if I should need them or a resident. They are literally a shout away. There is fun regular activities for the residents to take part in.I would definitely recommend Tanglewood horncastle to my family and friends.

Tanglewood Care Home in Horncastle is a well run and well managed care home. With a dedicated and lovely care team, alongside with supporting teams, doing their upmost each day to provide the very best delivery of care and attention they can. It is a happy environment with well maintained surroundings.

Tanglewood is no longer the home described in some reviews from 2020. We are a happy home with kind and dedicated staff who work hard to provide the care and love that our residents deserve. Clean and appropriately decorated, with quiet areas and a good range of activities.

Don?t be deceived by the flowers and what they say . My step father was not allowed to be visited for 14 days due to COVID. When visited he had developed a urine infection, bed sores ( he was not bedridden before he entered Tanglewood). He was dirty , wearing some one else?s clothes . He was only having one shower a week they said . His hair was greasy and he had developed dandruff . He developed pneumonia only a few weeks later and died shortly afterwards . His wife was never allowed to see his room. No condolences were expressed . And Carmella was aggressive whenever we mentioned the dirtiness etc . His deterioration was incredibly rapid and unexpected . The facade they present is very far from reality .

TAKE NOTE - DO NOT LEAVE YOUR LOVED ONES HERE!!!!! Looks lovely from the outside (just like the fake pictures) and reception but I have been horrified by the cell like room they have put my mother in. The room sticks of stale urine and has huge stains on the carpet .... communication between staff is poor. And mum has been assaulted by another resident going into her room and throwing her dinner over her and on another occasion a drink. Don't be fooled by the nice reception area......
