Fantastic polite and friendly staff. Huge shame that the building (rented) should be condemned as it has massive damp problems and does not do justice to the staff that run it!

Do not try to get served by a lady called 'Kate' when collecting a Parcelforce parcel. Very rude and will not go the extra mile. She did not accept any forms of ID to collect a parcel!

What a lovely set of female servers you have at this post office, so polite, kind, and patient, nothing is too much trouble for them. I have been in many post offices up and down this country and never have I been made to feel so happy than when I come away having been served by one of these lovely ladies, it is a privilege to be served and speak to this staff.

Proper old-fashioned, high-ceilinged but teensy post office right in the middle of Horncastle. I came here to post all my Music Magpie parcels and dropped them all over the floor, and hardly anyone laughed at me. Even though it's clearly a local place for local people, and I am not local, because I live in Leeds and even if I lived in Woodhall Spa still, that's six whole miles away and a whole different kettle of fish to Horncastle and I'd definitely not be local then. Anyway, even though it's a local place for local people, everyone was very friendly and chatty and it was a very pleasant experience. The only drawback, which is an overall-whinge-at-Horncastle, is that you can't park anywhere without having to pay. Although it's only about 40p in the market place so it's about a million times better than Leeds.
