It has a very well stocked farm shop with luxury food brands and a range of gifts/ trinkets/ toys & cards. Service is quite slow we'd already drunk our pot of tea for two by the time our food came out ... eating there we had ordered a pork and apple burger with potato wedges and a side salad which was lovely but also a cranberry, brie & bacon baguette which was very disappointing to say the least. Meagre filling for a baguette: one small back rasher of bacon, miniscule amount of brie and an overly sweet mass produced cash 'n carry style cranberry sauce- certainly not the luxury brands sold in the farm shop! A side salad that was not freshly prepared, the one quarter of tomato had probably been cut at start of service and was dried out- overall underwhelming, unexciting and overly priced at just under ten pounds. Come on UH's you can do better this ... It is supposed to be a treat to come out for lunch and I left with the feeling I'd been 'striped up'. I will say that sitting out in the Rose Garden was the highlight of the visit.

Called in, just off the A15, passed this place 100s of times.
Wow, wish I had done this years ago.
Food was amazing, all local produced pork products from their own farm.
Will be making this place a regular call off from now on.
Staff were very chatty n friendly.
Recommend the pork and Apple burger and the belly pork...oh and their sausage rolls too.
All very very nice.
My only regret is, I didn't find this place sooner !

Stopped for Cake and tea and to charge the car. Good charger, decent rate. Nice atmosphere. Coffee machine was broken, staff were not very apologetic and I can't say they were super welcoming either if I'm honest. But would definitely stop there again too charge the car.

Lovely place, lots for the family to do. Has a fenced dog paddock too to let the mutts off lead. Food was lovely, very friendly staff too.

We were staying nearby on holiday and visited here to buy this gin (yummy!) amongst other things.
Brilliant selection of delicious foods, so we left happy.
Special shout out to the staff who were very knowledgeable and extremely friendly - and Max sends his love for all the doggy kisses and cuddles he received!

Ordered a cooked ham for our holiday to Cornwall as we do every year. Ordered 31/07 for collection today, arrived to pick it up only to find the kitchen have taken it. Offered a raw one to cook ourselves which won?t be easy in a caravan so declined. Won?t be using them not recommending them to everyone like I have previously. I wouldn?t say they were exactly cheap so I would expect more than this from them. They also need to improve their pest control as there were flies all over the meat in the glass counter.

Ordered a large joint of ham to take with us to Cornwall like we do every year. Ordered 10 days ago to find the kitchen have used it. Thanks. Won?t bother from you guys any more and certainly won?t recommend you again.

First time visiting and would definitely recommend. The farm shop was really well stocked with huge varieties of meat, cakes, farm produce etc. We ate in the cafe too and we really enjoyed it. Definitely recommended
