I havent been to Uncle Henrys for a few years so thought id try it again the weekend for breakfast.Very overpriced for what you get.The breakfast included tinned tomatoes and the bacon was more fat than bacon itself. As for the award winning sausages, they were chewy. Also you have to pay extra for toast so i dont think that over £10 for a "greasy spoon" style breakfast is worth it.I wouldnt rush back in a hurry as there are plenty of other places around that serve better food.Very disappointed.

I came across Uncle Henry's last year at the Lincoln Sausage Festival in the grounds of Lincoln Castle. Their sausages were used in a cooking demonstration and they had a stall. I was invited to visit the farm.I don't know what I was expecting. A shed selling farm produce. What I found was a very large complex, in the middle of nowhere.I decided on a burger, then when ordering, changed my mind, seeing pork chop on the board, weekend only.Person at the till surly and uncooperative. No waitress service. No,could not have toast. Check with kitchen. Then backed down. Water. Go and get it.Ordering the pork chop was a mistake. Tough. The chips looked disgusting, were disgusting. The fat on the pork chop was tasty, indicating maybe organic, maybe free range. I left the pork chop half eaten. Saved to give to the fox.The restaurant was like a supermarket cafe in Asda or Morrisons.A pleasant sunny courtyard with outside seating. In the shop, ham shrink wrapped in plastic. Why? Why not carve or slice where the cheese was cut to order? The lady manning the till for the fresh produce was friendly and helpful. The narrow road leading to the farm shop, an idiot drove towards us too fast as we were leaving, forcing us off the road onto the waterlogged grass verge. There needs to be a prominently displayed 20mph speed limit. If lived near Henry's, then useful for fresh produce. An hour round trip from Lincoln, no. Not when have Pepperdine's, Redhill Farm shop, Fresh from the Fields and a monthly farmers market.Parking: Free parking in on site car park. The narrow single track road to the farm shop needs a speed limit.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access for disabled.

This was a funny one, so I?m off carbs and had just scrambled eggs on toast. But without the toast and they still charged a tenner. But oh well, the coffee was nice, that place is always full of mums and kids and the elderly and there was even a man on his laptop. ? I know it was half term but there were kids everywhere and that doesn?t bother me it was quite sweet. The best thing was Jennifer doing the tables she was lovely and the atmosphere was good. The farm shop was a little cluttersed I shouldn?t fancy trying to wheel a pushchair through there! Thanks anyway. The butchery bit looked great too. Yea. Nice place.

We like to have farm shop food whenever possible, home or away, and passed this place on our way to our holiday cottage. The quality is very good indeed, with the meat coming from their own herd. It must be a popular place because the car park was full, and it was near closing time, and some items, like the pork pies were already sold out. The cheese and the eggs both come from local producers. We will be making a return trip on our way back home.

Yeah Uncle Henry's is pretty good. It's a little out of the way but that's fine if you're going out for lunch and you need the farm shop. I feel the menu is a little limited for lunch but the brunch menu if pretty good. As for shopping, they've got some interesting stuff but it's all a bit overpriced if I'm being honest. Example, if you wanted to get a garden hand trowel and fork you can buy them in pairs. One in a box with bees on it at £35, and another at £25. Both far to expensive when you can get them elsewhere separately for £4 each so £8. Theres no need for them to be so expensive. That's just 1 example and theres a few more if you look. I just think that if they reduced the price of some items that they might just sell a few more cos I cant see many people paying those prices.Parking: It's free what more is there to say.

Second visit to UH, we returned because dog friendly, food good (soup/sandwich combo) bacon, brie, cranberry panini however cost of a cup of tea is scandalous! Unlikely to return for drinks but maybe food.!

Wonderful farm shop with a cafe serving breakfast and lunches sat at traditional tables or if you prefer the snug for a quiet coffee and slice of cake or seat yourself outside in the courtyard. There is a play area for the children, again with outside seating so you can keep an eye on them and the "walled garden", seperate play area with a small admittance charge. The farm shop is full of local produce ,(They grow their own pork you know). And the other meats are from Lincolnshire too. The butchers know their stuff too in fact all the staff are very friendly. This is a totally flat site with disabled parking and lovely clean facilities. Dogs are permitted too but not in the shop area for obvious reasons
