16 year customer.Rang up to notify change of address in December 2022.Vision Express subsequently continued (4 times) to send my contact lenses to the old address despite ringing the Grimsby branch each time to notify them of the error.Each time they stated ?their system had been updated? and promised they?d rectified the error.Called to cancel my subscription after the 5th time they sent the lenses to the old address, and again they ?promised? they?d cancel my subscription - shock-horror, they didn?t.Ended up having to ring the National complaints line to complain and cancel my subscription after being on hold to the Grimsby branch for over an hour.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Hayley and the many members of staff who have given me excellent service at the Grimsby Branch shop.The attention to detail and after service care was the best I have found in the UK.I now have the most comfortable set of glasses I have owned; I hope their service and customer care is recognised by their management team.Having visited Plymouth and Sheffield Meadow Hall previously I found the Grimsby Branch head and shoulders above their more high profile branches.Well done and thank you for your dedication in the service you provided me over and over again until I got the result I was hoping for.

I was not made aware of any salesThe dr told me my Rx slightly changed but when I asked up front the lady serving me said my records were not availableI have chosen to cancel my new glasses as I was not impressed by the communication

Disappointed that despite spending £370 that my complaints in respect of my previous poor quality glasses I was not offered a discount or any apologies, if these are as poor I will not use VE again

*I accidentally stood on my glasses jumping out of bed*The following day I call vision express to see if I could bring them in the have the arm corrected and tightened, I brought it in to be met by Simon, he was very nice on the phone and in store aswell as understanding of my situation. He took my glasses off of me and in less than 5 minutes had corrected them and gave them a little clean. All round great and easy experience (not the standing on the glasses part.Thank you Simon.

Very busy in there yesterday and new member of staff on reception who was very professional and helped deal with my request promising a call back which I recieved. The lady who called was brilliant and sorted my order. Very impressed as it arrived today. Fantastic service thank you

I was more comfortable going to vision xpress than boots option there?s more space so that you?re not as close to other people like at boots the people that work at vision xpress make you feel welcome very polite to always a nice smile too always listen to you about what as been going on with your eyes even showed me the pictures of my eyes I would highly recommend to go if you have to still wear a mask say like you are having chemo & need to keep safe

A lovely experience from beginning to end. Both the Store Associate - Meadow, and Optician - Emily were incredibly kind, knowledgeable and welcoming, and made me feel at ease! I am very much looking forward to going back to collect my new glasses!! Thank you again ?

Been a customer for about 20 years and never had a problem. Ordered transitional glasses in plenty of time for a holiday, wasn't kept up to date until I chased them and was told production broke the frames but failed to let the shop know. The shop ordered another pair of frames again with plenty of time to spare. Glasses still not arrived a day before I go away and been on hold to the shop for 1 hour and 6 minutes with no response, just on hold with music!

Not very happy with my service, been waiting nearly a month for my lenses to come, rang helplines they got through to grimsby sending me spares never arrived, I rang grimsby what's going on they said am I behind on standing order payments, Never.. Been with vision express more than 15 years never missed payments ...Still waiting still waiting.

The friendliest, competent staff you could ever wish for. Every part of our experience from arriving, the ophthalmologist explaining everything she was doing and why, showing me my eye photos and what they look for, to the lovely young lady, Meadow, who measured my husband and me for our new glasses explaining all the different tints and which would suit my husband the best and width of my varied focals. It's always a pleasure going to Grimsby Vision Express. We do a 48 mile round trip and wouldn't go anywhere else.
