Very busy but easy to park, stocked full with essentials. Grabbed a meal deal and some fresh pastries. Meal deal was good value, £3.50 for a sandwich, bag of crisps and a drink.
The shop as with most Tesco Express sites is quite compact. Not much room in the entrance and around the grab and go items like sandwiches and drinks.
Annoyingly you can?t get a receipt from the ?self? service tills and have to get one of the staff to manually print it.
I?ve had this now at a few Tesco Express stores. It?s not convenient ? in a convenience store? Surely it is an unnecessary cost for Tesco to have such a manual process and not something that I have found with other local stores with self scan tills. The staff were very friendly and polite about it but it makes me feel bad as it seems like such a waste of their time when I can see they?re clearly very busy filling the shop.
Lots of parking spaces and very easy to get in and out of the car park. Cash machine outside and strangely another small convenience store in the car park.
On the day I visited, as other people have mentioned in their reviews there was someone outside begging. Seems this is the case with most shops now. Absolutely not the fault of Tesco, but it is quite intimidating as they can be quite aggressive.

Beggars take it in turns to permanently sit outside of this store and hassle each customer going in for money. Today there were two of them at it meaning you had to walk over their legs to get inside the shop. Staff are not taking this issue seriously.I have every sympathy for those genuinely in need but for the length of time this has been happening and the shift-work nature of how they take it in turns to sit there, this is pure antisocial behaviour and it is really a blight on the neighbourhood.

Parcel collection is a joke. Should not have to stand around waiting for the only staff member on the till to finish serving the Q before coming over to the parcel collection point.Parcels can never be found , staff have to rummage around in containers for ages, no system for finding anything. it's an absolute joke .Won't be using again.
