Payed loan off in full 1 week later they take money out my bank what I do not own them and it has bin 2 weeks now I have been trying to get my money back ring them 4 times and they say they will send it back but never do staff are rude stay clear

Terrible staff, awful services. Only branch in the area yet the outside machine is never in use. I have seen endless people having to walk away due to them not being able to deposit money because outside machine isn't in service.Literally the only bank in the area that opens at 9:30. It wouldn't be an issue if the machine outside work but it doesn't. This isn't just an issue on the odd day, this is everyday of the week.I wouldn't recommend to anyone, avoid at all costs!

to far away from cleethorpes high street. and no longer hasve a post office to deposit money withion 3-4 miles. this review is on santander as they no longer provide me a means to deposit money. wow talk about going backwards in time.

I have been banking with Santander formaly giro for over 30 years and the service I have had this week has been the worst ever. I went into branch to deposit a Canadian cheque to be told that it cant be done in branch anymore. I was given a hand addresded envelope to put my cheque in with instructions to post it. I sent it recorded delivery at a cost of 6.70. It has arrived but appears nowhere on my account I have waited 45mins to talk to someone. I went to online chat and ended up with a robot. Still none the wiser what am I paying my account fees for?

The bank has been closed for a couple of weeks now with no explanation. Contacting Santander appears to be impossible unless you want financial services. If not open today we will be considering changing our bank.
