Been saving with Nationwide for around 20 years, and never experienced any issues. Great staff, can easily deposit or take out money whenever, and proud to bank with them.

a nice clean bright place,staff are friendly and you belive they actually know what they are talking about i hold my sons account there and i also know lots of people there it is a welcoming place and the staff have always got time to talk/help you with any queris can get very busy,have been waiting upto twenty minutes ,but on the plus side you are not rushed when you get to being sereved

We hold an account here for our daughter and my wife has an account here also. When our daughter was born we opened an account for her at the Alliance and Leicester to put all the money that she had received into while we investigated the options for savings. The A & L account wasn't bad but after thorough searching of all the companies with local branches the nationwide offered the best options for savings for children. I was also please because I firmly believe in the proper 'mutual' building society ethos. When we did a review of our finances my wife decided that she would also do her main banking with the nationwide. This is based on our experiences of this branch. The services offered are excellent and very competitive and the staff are lovely - knowledgeable and helpful. The only downside is that it is so popular, on a saturday you can be queuing out of the door!
