I phoned the store to check stock availability on a dewalt impact wrench before I travelled. The product was in stock so I said I'll buy it and I'll leave straight away.I thought that maybe they would have it ready so I can just present my card and be on my merry way. When I got there I spoke to the same guy I spoke to on the phone and he straight away showed me an alternative model which he said was far better. No problem there but I still wanted to have a look at the one I originally went in to purchase.Well, trying to make a purchase in that store is near impossible!3 times I asked to look at the item I actually wanted to buy (which still was on the highest shelf across from the counter with the mobile safety steps underneath). The 3rd time I asked I was told it was on the shelf 'alarmed'. By this time I presumed they didn't actually want to sell me it so I left without spending a penny.I decided to google both models & found them both much cheaper online. I was going to be spending roughly £410 on the drill and Sockets in the store.

Frankly, i'd happily spend an afternoon just mooching around here while building up a list of things to buy for my imaginary workshop!Small steps eh?MM is always a great place to get hands on with equipment and to discover stuff that you never knew existed... but can no longer do without! My roll cab is now almost complete: - just one more side cabinet and it'll be big enough to inhabit! Then again... with all that new spare space - looks like i'll be going back..

If your a business and the item that was recommended, sold and invoiced to your company by the staff in the shop stops working the staff will inform you to contact the maker of the product for them to tell you it hasn?t a warranty as it?s not for commercial use!! Perhaps if the staff told you that before taking your money it might be fairer. So be aware !

I had a problem with an item, the staff were very helpful, took time to help sort the problem and issue a replacement product. Very pleased.

Altho there's lots in stock, they're quite often way over the prices being charged by rival companies. I asked about price match and basically got sneered at, oh well my £250 purchase will be spent elsewhere

Store was clean and tidy and had sensible covid measures in place, we attended site for a roof Inspection and was surprised at just how many tools are available here.

I went there today, not one customer in there, none of the staff are wearing masks but insist that you wear one, something very wrong with that and I wont be going back there again nor will I use them again. I walked straight out. The UK is turning into a fascist state! Nothing about this pandemic makes any sense. 4 months of lockdown, no masks, they make it up as they go along.
