It's been a few years since I was last here so the lay out was a shock to the system. But overall OK, scanning your receipts to get out or someone to let you pass, no problem, Nothing wrong if you've got nothing to hide.

The layout has changed with more cold items. I've got Lidl plus and heading there after work many of the vouchered items were not available. The system of using the receipt to exit is good.

How disgusting the experience my disabled son and I just had in the lidle cromwell rd store in grimsby.
There was no customer care or duty of care towards their customers. my son needed a trolly unlocking to support him around the store not having £1 in cash on him, he was told to walk around the store and buy something to get cash back. my son stood with his walking sticks struggling to stand asking to speak to the manager he was told the manager wont come down and speak to him.
He needed help to get a trolly due dropping in to the store on the off chance to pick up a few bits for tea not having cash on him, due to this day and age nobody Carrie's cash on them, it's a rarity to carry cash, he was told to buy something and get cash back.
The store assistant kept repeating herself buy something/get cash back.
Dreadful treatment, it's wrong
Every disabled person should be cared for and listened to.
Certainly no help from this store in Cromwell Rd Grimsby.
What did they think he was going to do ..
All they had to do was unlock a trolly as part of their customer care.

Spent a load of time and money increasing the amount of self-service tills only to hardly have the new ones open, so the queues are way bigger than necessary.
