Purchased two bulk bags of aggregate and slate for delivery, prices were competetive. Staff were friendly and helpful and kept me informed about delivery date and gime. Delivery was pretty quick and the driver called before he arrived and was efficient and friendly. Overall I'm very happy.

After a rather disappointing and annoying trip to another building suppliers not so far away, came to Howarth Timber and wished I'd done so first. Helpful staff and a quick service led to my day ending with project completed and a wonder why I'd never been before!!

Very poor customer service. I ordered one extra shower board. It was unopened and not used but they would not take it back as they said it was a "special"even though it was straight out of their catalogue and not a custom size. They failed to explain this when I was placing the order. I will not be using them again or and will be letting everyone I know how they deal with you once they have sold you something. Avoid at all costs!
