“We had the buttercross suite at Stallingborough Grange for our wedding in June Emilia and the team were very friendly and helpful and throughout the process. Nothing was too much trouble and they were very flexible with their packages and adapted to make our day exactly how we imagined. We had the afternoon tea for food in the day time and the barbecue in the evening and would highly recommend both. They were flexible for guests with dietary needs and with the children too We booked the bridal suite for the night before and night of the wedding which helped make the day that little bit more special. Everything was exactly how we hoped and ever imagined.”
“I visited Laceby Manor for a spa day with my mother, who is currently recovering from a heart episode. We had been looking forward to what was meant to be a special and relaxing day. Unfortunately, our experience fell well short of the standards we expected. We booked our treatments in person at the spa reception, not online. At the time of booking, we were advised to arrive no later than 15 minutes before our treatment — nothing more. We were not told that we needed to arrive 90 minutes prior to our appointment to access the spa facilities, nor that these facilities would be unavailable after our treatment. We arrived as instructed, 15 minutes before our massage. While the massage itself was very good, and we later enjoyed the food, I asked afterwards about robes and use of the spa facilities. It was only then that I was informed, somewhat abruptly, that we could not use them following our treatment. What made matters worse was the dismissive attitude of the spa manager. When I raised my concern that this important information had not been shared with us at booking, I was repeatedly told that “her girls” would not have failed to mention it — effectively suggesting that I was mistaken or not telling the truth. There was no acknowledgment that perhaps an error had occurred, nor any attempt to find a solution on the day, even though the spa was quiet and it would have been easy to allow us some limited access. Following the visit, I contacted the spa director, hoping for a constructive dialogue and a gesture of goodwill. Unfortunately, despite polite responses, the focus of the correspondence quickly shifted toward the impact of my review on their business rather than on resolving my complaint or making any effort to rebuild goodwill. No resolution or goodwill gesture was offered. Having since read other reviews, it appears that communication and service issues at the spa are not isolated incidents. This only reinforces my disappointment. I had genuinely hoped that Laceby Manor would become a place I would return to regularly. Sadly, the way my concerns were handled — both during and after my visit — means I am unlikely to return or recommend it.”

“Nice spoons, just beside the station so idea for a few days away. While some say Grimsby isn't the best place, I thought it wasnt bad and this spoons is in the centre of the town.”
“My wife and l recently stayed at the Grimsby Premier Inn and would like to say a big thank you to Jannine in the restaurant who couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome. My wife has recently had a hip replacement operation so is still a bit slow with her walking, but Jannine directed us to a ground level table and gave us superb service in a very professional but friendly way, we couldn't have wished for anyone better. Thank you Jannine!”
“We just had the pleasure of staying here at the Millfields Hotel. All the staff are great, Gareth on reception is very helpful and as we arrived early evening we had a meal in the restaurant. The friendly and attentive Mandy and Lisa ( thanks for the recommendations ) made it an evening to remember. Not forgetting the great food put on by the chef!!
The rooms were a good size, clean, comfortable and quiet! Great shower too!
We would definitely go out of our way to stay here again!
A big thanks to everyone (including those behind the scenes )for making it a nice place to stay!”
