Picked up a vinyl album. Was last copy
Had a deep large crease on top left hand ,top side of cover. Asked if was last as had damage ,very unfriendly staff member. Enquired if would discout a little. A flat outright no. Company policy. HMV. I shop here a lot to support the local store. Will not return again.

So i go to grimsby hmv almost every week and usually have a good time just looking around at whatevers new they have added but today was quite an uncomfortable experience. I was lookibg foward to buying a kpop album since i noticed there was some new additions but me and my friend both noticed all 3 employees staring at us the whole time we were in the store which has never happened before. I also want to add that they were not trying to hide the fact they were watching me and even moved everytime i moved in order to keep me in their line of site so they could continue to watch me. I myself am autism diagnosed and being stared at and watched makes me extremely panicked so this was an extremely uncomfortable experience. I felt as though i had to leave before even buying anything due to not feeling ok with with all this attention on me and was unfortunately not able to purchase the album i was looking foward to buying :( I'm not sure if it is because we are teenagers so they suspected we were going to try stealing but either way it was very uncomfortable for both me and my friend and i feel as though we shouldnt be discriminated against just due to our age as there were plenty of other in the store (all adults) and they did not behave the same way towards them.

Nice shop, pop in every Grimsby trip. Okay priced records, beatles ones are really expensive. Staff are alright, wish they took more care with records.

Most lps, cds, etc can be purchased elsewhere much cheaper, if you do visit, and buy bring your own bag, 50p they charge.

It's so nice to see HMV still busy after everything that has happened and also still full of variety of music, vinyl records, CDs, games and Blu-ray together with lots of other great stuff!
