I came into the store today to return an on line order. As I wasn't sure whether I could do this as it was a large item, I asked the staff member at the counter.
The staff member named Harry was extremely helpful. He took the item and explained how refunds are credited into our bank. His overall approach was beyond excellent. Dunelm are very lucky to have him. I sincerely hope that my review is passed on to him personally.

Dunelm had the item I wanted (a storage box) at the right price. Happy customer

In general the store had some really lovely items however during our visit there was three to four members of staff standing in the middle aisle gossiping among themselves for over ten minutes. I did not want to interrupt them even though my partner and myself really needed help and advice. This situation was really unprofessional and awkward. In the end we managed to find what we needed and went on out merry way.

Went for a roller blind, huge selection with some marked down in price. Nice atmosphere and helpful staff. Wheelchair access, good parking and elevator for 1st floor.

The store is very well located. Has a good sized car park with free parking. The store is very fully stocked which for me comes across as cluttered/overwhelming, this seems to be a common occurrence at other dunelm stores I have visited though. There are always lots of reduced products which is great for those of us who love a bargain.
The store has a very generously sized elevator to the second floor and a disabled toilet also. However as the store is so full it can be difficult to get around if you are in a wheelchair.
The click and collect seems like a great idea. However the set up seems odd to me. You need to check in at the stand (currently near the elevator) you then wait for a member of staff to bring your items from the till area. You then have to walk through, and in my case wait behind customers queuing to pay, in order tot leave the store via the exit. As the click and collect items are stored in a room behind the tills it would make more sense, in my opinion to just collect at the tills. Or have the click and collect sign outside so you don?t have to go into the store.
Overall if you are able bodied and love a good good bargain this is a great store for home goods and the candles are lovely. If however you are disabled or using click and collect then be prepared for some obstacles.

Lighting section is looking a bit shoddy and not much choice. Distinct lack of wall lights

My 1st time at the Grimsby store and the car park entrance was amazingly difficult to find as I could see no signage. Otherwise very good.
