It's a big B&Q
Always helpful staff although floor staffing levels always seem to be at a minimum level, but this is how all B&Q stores appear to operate
If you know what you want it's in and out,
If you need advice can be slow getting the correct member of staff to you.

Staff not very helpful don't seem to know what there doing. Not very polite or friendly. Scunthorpe store is a much better service and higher level of customer care.

We went to get some wood panelling and a lovely lady called Emma said it would be cheaper to have it cut from 2 sheets of MDF
She did this for us in two sizes and helped us with everything we needed she was great couldn?t do enough for us
Unfortunately the larger of the pieces of wood where too long and we couldn?t get them in our Kia
My husband took them back to see if they could cut them smaller and the bloke at that time behind the wood cutting place was off hand and ?no by a saw and cut them in the car park yourself
My husband was stood in the rain cutting these panels 11 in total
Great customer service NOT

I bought a couple of toys for my daughter online, I received all the emails proving the purchase etc, then I received an email saying that the order was ready for collection, when I got there with my daughter who was all happy to pick up the new toys they told me that they were going to make a refund because after all they didn't have the toys. SHAME ON B&Q

Got ripped off I bought a paint roller for 30 quid what is unbelivable so I pulled out my phone to take a video and a worker asked me not to record and punched my phone out my hand while doing so he broke my finger its shoking behaviour. NEVER COME HERE.

To be honest, I used the click and collect service, after a colleague showed me how to do it from my local Louth store.
I was surprised how big the Grimsby store was, compared to Louth it feels like 3 times bigger.
The store looks bright and airer,
However upon making way to collection point, it resulted in what felt like forever (about 10mins). Kept pressing buzzer and the lady on till, kept looking over stating she was trying to reach someone as well as serving. The till assistant looked over embarrassed how long we was waiting, finally someone turned up, and I felt like I'd been made to put him out.

NIL STARS...SHOCKING SERVICE! ...I ordered a patio set £350 click and collect as they didn't deliver, looked for a trolley big enough to transport to my car, asked where they we're "oh! Somewhere!"..."Car Park! check the back" NOT SHALL I TRY AND GET SOMEONE TO GET ONE FOR YOU!
I tried the car park. Came back to click and collect "try the trade point" went there, "have you any trolleys?" the guy shrugged his shoulders, another woman "Out in the car park somewhere try up at the back"
THATS ABSOLUTELY NO HELP WHATSOEVER FROM 3 STAFF NOT KIDS BUT WELL IN THEIR 50's...I use B & Q regularly but if I can buy elsewhere from now on I will.Alex

Great selection of DIY products. However, pretty much every product here is quite expensive.
