Took my Astra in to have 4 tyres replaced and front wheel alignment without booking and was asked to leave the car all day which was okay as I had nothing to do and no appointment the car was ready to collect after around 2 hours great service

This was an awful experience with these guys. Booked online direct to have 2 front tyres changed. They damaged them by scrapping the lacquer on approximately 20cm on both wheels. After explaining to them its the lacquer been scrapped and including pictures they still try to blame myself for the damage saying I "kerbed" them and only accept liability for 1 wheel because the damaged looked old and "rusty" on one wheel. I'm just thinking cutting my losses at this point to say an ALLOY wheel is rusty (to clarify, it was dirt). So after 2 months of discussion/arguing (tbf some of that time was over the Christmas period) their area manager gets involved to accept liability (finally doing the right thing). Extras - over inflated 1 tyre to 44/45 psi while the other was correct at 36/37 psi, put the locking nut on one wheel nut (only the locking rest were fine) on so tight needed a windy gun (this was touch and go to get the locking nut off) so if I was to get a puncture I would have been stuck (i personally took them off to have the repaired as they are diamond cut), one or both wheels not balanced, used incorrect valve cap (one wheel) only a minor thing as my wheels have pressure monitoring but alot of cars have these caps with a seal and finally fraudulently signing the paperwork to say I accept the completed work, I didn't even see the paperwork just an email attachment as I was waiting in their reception area.

Came in today as I had 2 flat tyres when I returned to my car. I had used the company last year with my husband's car and all was good. However today the guy pumped my tyres up asked me if I was in the AA told me they don't have my tyres in stock and my Rover 75 tyres are a bad size and told me to drive yo another tyre company. So shocked about this Caroline Cullum

Update: I have had my car tyres serviced here for over 5 years and still had not had any issues or concerns, they are consistently professional and provide quick services.Very professional and quick service, never had to wait long with these guys.
