We only visited their pub, not the rooms. A good variety of mains, starters and sides. Good food, I Loved the pork belly. And a good selection of beers and ales.

We stopped here for lunch after a long drive on our way to Lincoln. Really great place for some of the best homemade hearty food.
I had a club with some chips and my other half fish and chips with mushy peas. One of the best clubs I've ever tasted and my girl was chuffed with her fish and chips.
Service is friendly and helpful.
5/5 would stop here again.

Good choice of pub classics, including grilled options, gluten-free and vegetarian options available, also please check the specials board, reasonable prices. We ordered gluten-free beer battered cod with chips, burger (Thorold Beef Burger) and two pies of the day. The food was served promptly and it was good. Decent portions. Despite the cod looked very anaemic, it was tasty. The pie of the day was really nice and filling, served with a jar of tasty gravy. The burger was OK, almost tasteless.
The place is clean and there are plenty of tables available. There are some tables outside as well. Smart decor.
There is a small car park available however the number of spaces is very limited, we had to park on the street further down the road despite the pub was almost empty.
The staff was very helpful, professional, nice and attentive.

Our village's community owned pub has gone from strength to strength in recent months. Tonight was a special event - a wine tasting night, which showcased a great new line-up of wines, perfectly paired with delicious and very well presented small plates of food. It was a perfect evening and everyone who had a hand in putting it together should be roundly congratulated and proud of what they've achieved.
For me (a frequent customer) it's the high water mark of a continually improving, hospitable country pub.
Sunday lunch is a real cracker too.

Amazing pub, just how it should be, friendly and attentive team. Tiny Rebel IPA spot on and the 3 course Sunday roast delicious and good size servings. Our new go to pub when in the Newark area.
