This is indeed a nice cosy place. Food is reasonably priced, the service is fast, and the lady serving our food was welcoming and friendly.
There is good parking space near the restaurant, free for two hours, I think there is some scope to improve the food to make it more authentic Chinese food, it's needless to say that even best of the best restaurant could still be improved, and, this is not a criticism.

The first time I had been here today. And I can honestly say it was one of the nicest places I had been to. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was great. And the young lady who served me and my family was nothing short of amazing. She was so helpful and very very kind. I would advise anyone to try this restaurant out.

Lovely, just ordered the sizzling fish and ginger and it was refreshing and light and exactly what I needed. Wish I had visited sooner!

I'am not really sure what the negative reviews are all about to be honest. We booked a table for 4 and from the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome, the front of house staff were really nice, helpful and chatty. They asked about allergies at the start. We ordered a set meal for four comprising crackers, starters soup and then mains.....all of which were superb...highlights for me was the prawn toast and won ton for starters...not really had soup at a Chinese restaurant before but that was so nice...choice of chicken or crab...then the mains....well there was 4 and then we ordered chicken balls extra....the balls were a sensation as was the duck dish...actually there wasn't anything we didn't like and the serving plates were empty. Extra special fried rice was served when we asked and that on its own was really good too. Everything we had came out hot. We all had the 'Sun lik' larger on tap which was also very nice...the lady owner was so attentive, making sure we knew what we were ordering, answering our questions and just really having abit of banter with us too. Great night.
All in all a good quality very tasty meal thank you.

Fabulous meal. The food served was delicious. We shared are starting platter, soup and 4 main dishes. Each dish, Duck, chicken, pork and crispy beef was full of amazing flavours. All very fresh. I?ve not had such a nice restaurant meal for a long time. The portions were generous and all that was left at the end of the meal was 1 solitary chunk of Pineapple. Superb meal. I love HopSing and my friend loved it too. Can?t wait to go again !

The hop sing back in the day was the Chinese to go to . But it breaks your heart to see how bad its gone . The owners know seem to have no passion. The food is terrible . I know things are tough in hospitality. But if you don't serve good food you will have no customers left. That's probably why there's limited opening times. Do hope they can turn it around.

We wanted to celebrate a special occasion with our children and decided to try this restaurant for a change.
We had the buffet menu to get a good array of dishes and it did not disappoint.
The food was varied and very tasty.

Unfortunately, there wasn't a buffet. 3 courses at lunchtime I was very disappointed with the food. My vegetarian friend had leven less choice. Website suggests otherwise . She asked for veggie curry and was plates up chicken!! Luckily, I tried it first

First time visiting Hop Sing and will certainly be back. We ordered off the buffet menu and was pleasantly surprised with the great choice of dishes. Service was good and food was delicious. Highly recommend

We had a very nice meal and we found it very good value. The food was fresh and hot and we had no issues with anything we ordered. The food came how we wanted it- for example without onions. The restaurant was nice and staff were attentive. We would eat here again.
