“My wife ordered six fencing panels from our local Wickes Store in Grantham. She arranged delivery and this was handled by their contractor, City Sprint.
We were advised, on the due date, that they would arrive before 7pm.
The van turned up just before seven with the last delivery of the day. Kimbert (NG67) the driver, who had already had a long day and was facing a fair journey home to Mansfield, immediately offered to help us get them to the part of our property where we needed to store them. A journey of twists and turns and ducking under tree branches!
My wife and I are pensioners and this act of kindness was very much appreciated by us.
Kimbert is a credit to his employers City Sprint and their clients Wickes. We wanted his attitude and kindness to be recognised.

“I don't visit DIY shops on a regular basis but onnthis occasion i was looking for something that was out of stock. I did make a purchase but the one thing that irritates me the most is being forced to use self service tills. I won't be going back, i will shop online.
