The online booking service would not work on my mobile due to the fixed banner at the bottom that blocked the buttons to be able to progress to make the booking.This not a reflection on the in store service, but I was asked by the website to put a review about the booking service.

As always, the guys at F1 Grantham were outstanding. Car went in for its MOT, which I got a little cheaper through their online offer and despite it needing 2 new tyres the cost was more than reasonable. Very happy with the Service provided and happy to recommend.

Best tyre shop in Grantham. I stopped off with a puncture for an emergency replacement and they fit me in asap. Friendly service and easy to get hold of.I even tried some of the bigger names, Halfords and KwikFit, and they were nowhere near as helpful.

I picked up my car after a MOT noticed straight away a banging/rattle, but did not have time as I needed to collect son. I came back a week later and on my way a heat shield dropped of. They screwed it back in and told me the sound would stop, it didn't!I took it back again and was informed that the sound was due to corrosion on the exhaust. I was advised that they wouldn't have picked it up in the MOT is it is only a visual inspection and corrosion can happen at any moment. The advised me that it would cost £450 to fix.I went back a few weeks later after a friend had a look and couldn't find any corrosion but did find that the exhaust had damage consistent with damage from the lift. The new manager there had a look and told me that it couldn't have been the lift as there was no impact marks and that know one could be dumb enough to miss the hole in the exhaust during the MOT and when fixing the heat shield. I completely agree. No mention was made about corrosion. It wasn't until I asked about the possibility of fixing it via welding that they said it was possible.The problem started once I picked it up and they clearly missed the damage and was willing to charge me 450 for a job that ended up costing £60 from someone else.I drive my son in the car and am shocked. I will never use them again.I'm not sure if it is full on dishonesty, just plain incompetence or maybe its related to thick smell of cannabis in the air everytime I attend.

So I don't really know where to start with this.I needed an MOT doing and thought I should get it serviced at the same time. Got it booked. Dropped off the car. The manager doesn't have the most friendly or welcoming tone in his voice. But doesn't matter, I'm just here to get my car sorted, they said it would take most of the day. Fair.They phone me up during the day saying it passed its MOT but there are some advisories. I asked them to get them fixed while they have it. This is totalling up to around £550 (repairs + MOT + service). An hour later. I get another call from them saying that they also need to fix the rear wheel springs, they forgot to check them during the MOT and it would have failed the MOT if it had been spotted.I was confused why they would admit that. I mean, bonus points for honesty but does no fill me with confident in their work. I asked why it was missed when doing the MOT and they said that it's just hard to spot and they only noticed them when replacing one of the tyres which is on the advisory.They didn't have the springs so I had to take the car and wait for them to get them. The unfriendly guy said that he would call me next week when they have them.Roll on next week and no call, I chase up on a Wednesday and turns out that the unfriendly manager was on holiday and the guy on the phone didn't know much about it. I explained the situation and he immediately got defensive around the MOT and them missing the rear springs, again claiming that "its hard to see them so that's why it was missed" (still, not really an excuse. You're paid to make sure the car is road legal. That's the point.)Once I said I'm not really bothered about the mistake, I just want the car fixed. He immediately changed his tone and was slightly apologetic about it and booked us in 2 weeks away, which apparently was the earliest they can fit us in.We phoned up on that day and they said they were too busy so to bring it back a different day, they gave us another date, another 2 weeks away. So this is now a month since this issue where I'm technically driving a car which should have failed its MOT. Not good.We turn up on that morning at 8:30 like they asked and then told us that they're too busy and to come back another time. No. This has gone beyond a joke and said it needs doing asap. They squeezed us in Monday.Thankfully Monday morning they actually were ready for us and unfriendly man was there, still with the same unfriendly look on his face. They were quick and got it sorted, but that's why it's a 2 star review. I won't be coming back here, glad they got it fixed but it wasn't a great service at all. I've also noticed a small scratch that's randomly appeared on one of the doors but can't quite be sure it was from them.

Booking process seems straight forward enough.I am curious as to why full payment needs to be taken at booking stage.....so we'll see how the process pans out...

No problems with the job or billing. Took an hour as expected, but I couldn't get on the free Wi-Fi (which I have on previous visits) and staff were unable to advise.

Really good garage, I always take my car here. They are friendly and helpful, they don?t try rip you off and they always do a good job. If you want a no nonsense garage which doesn?t try and rip you off then opt for this one.

Online booking was easy. I was attended to swiftly on arrival at 8.30 The MOT and service were carried out by early afternoon and I was phoned to say the car was ready to collect. Very competitive price and I am satisfied so far.

I ordered tyres one week earlier, when I came, I heard there is no my tyres. I asked for rebook for diferent day, but I had to do it later by phone. Still not sorted. I do not recommend.
