I made the mistake of using ASDA Grantham Pharmacy after the doctors sent through an urgent prescription when I got to the counter the Young lady went in the back to talk to the pharmacist and he told her he had not even looked at today?s prescription, then the young lady came back an lied to my face saying it had only just come through obviously not realising I had heard her speak to the pharmacist and that I would need to come back tomorrow, I am back the next day and have been waiting over half an hour because they have now lost the prescription, while my partner who is waiting for pain medication has been in tears for two days thanks to there incompetence. Avoid at all costs I will never use them again!

Goodness me i have just been reading the reviews,firstly people complaining about the queues,you do realise you are the same as the people in the queue so are adding to that queue?wanting the same thing as you your medication, your not special you know!!!!
Try having a little patience ,I have witnessed rude people speaking to staff in an unacceptable manner, if you speak to someone politely and treat them as you would like to treated there shouldn't be a problem?
I have never had any problem at asda pharmacy but if the staff are rude I wonder why ???????????

I had a terrible experience at Asda Pharmacy in Grantham on 26/11/2024. I arrived at 5:47 PM to collect my repeat prescription, which was located and placed in a basket for the pharmacist to check. Despite being told it would only take a few minutes, I waited nearly 50 minutes while at least 20-30 people who arrived after me were served within 5?10 minutes.
Repeatedly asking for updates yielded no action, and the staff member made no effort to prioritise my order. Eventually, a pharmacist noticed me waiting and handed over my medication immediately. When I expressed my frustration, the staff member who caused the delay stood nearby, showing no acknowledgment or sympathy.
This experience left me feeling humiliated and questioning whether I was treated this way due to my ethnicity or name. I have made a formal complaint and expect better from a trusted organisation like Asda.

Went today to collect my daughter prescription and also a prescription that no pharmacy has. Sophie checked stock and ordering and now my daughter is able to have a lower does at different times after speaking to the doctor! Amazing I visited every other pharmacy and they just told me out of stock but Sophie actually helped and now my daughter has got her prescription. Nice to be helped she was so lovely and bubbly

I called ahead because I'm having to travel a fair bit to find stock and I was served by Sophie who was just so bright and helpful, she took on everything to make sure I was sorted and I was so reassured. Pharmacies often are overburdened and staff take it out on customers, so Sophie was a really great change

They don?t know how to follow their own procedures. They will say wait over there then proceed to make you wait 40 minutes for a prescription the will take ?10 minutes? then tell you oh your standing in the wrong place to collect prescriptions.

Went in to the pharmacy today and I don't mind waiting I understand it can be busy. But I do not expect to be spoken to in such a rude manner. Either thats the way she speaks to everyone or she was having a bad day. I spoke to her politely I expect the same back

Every time I go, whatever time of day or night, it's impossibly busy, yet the speed at which all the staff work to is phenomenal. The time waiting is quick considering the pressure they are all under. I'd like to give a huge thank you to those who work here, you are appreciated.

Doctors prescribed antibiotics for my 9 year old daughter suffering from tonsillitis ao enlarged and painful tonsils and difficulty swallowing. Didn't have the solution form and tried to send me off with tablets the size of paracetamol and chalky texture instead, to be taken 4 times a day for 10 days. I explained I wouldn't be able to take these as my 9 year old would struggle and at most choke. Lady behind desk spoke to me disgustingly saying that's what was prescribed which clearly it wasn't as she then proceeded to say it was because they didn't have the oral solution available. So instead of apologising she spoke to me terribly and gave me my prescription slip back and I said so I get from somewhere else then? Awful awful awful customer service and treatment. No need for it.
