Our First visit to the George, Friendly welcome on arrival. Well looked after by our waitress . The food was delicious and good value for money . 3 of us had the peppered steak pie which came with mash and one with chunky homemade chips , and a selection of different vegetables. One of our party ordered the Belly pork and she said it was delicious too . Lemon tart and Eton Mess for desert and they didn?t disappoint either .
We would certainly be going again . Thank you for a lovely evening.

Visited on a mid week evening.
Easy to find restaurant, with some parking available in the main square opposite.
Received a warm welcome upon entry, and managed to get straight to the bar. There's plenty of seating for dining, though booking is highly recommended to avoid disappointment.
The menu has a wide variety to choose from, including vegan and vegetarian options. Somewhat overwhelming with how many options are available.
If you're stuck for choice, elect the steak pie. You'll be extremely satisfied.
Meals were piping hot and fresh. The pie pictured was FULL of tender meat, with chunky chips, vegetables and a side of gravy. The portion sizes were a little large for my liking and I struggled to finish it all.
2 meals, including drinks can to less than £50.
Will be returning in the future to try other options as to be honest, I was spoilt for choice.

Visited a few nights ago with 2 very well travelled relatives from California .
Without doubt the best meal out , i ve had in ages !!! My brother and sister in law , who are extremely well travelled around the world were more than impressed with the food .
A special mention to the staff , all the waitresses were bright , big smiles and knowledgable of the menu .... thankyou

Lived in Kirton Lindsey for many years. First time visiting and dining. Had Pepper Steak Pie. Did not finish my meal. I pointed out to the waitress that my pie had two very large chunks of fat in it. Nobody followed up on this. Got the impression they could care less. Won?t ever go back.

Visiting at 5pm mid week I had an excellent steak pie, lots of chunky steak pieces and thick crisp pastry. Vegetables were fresh and not over cooked and chunky chips were excellent.
Service was friendly, professional and prompt.
Decor is a mix of contemporary and traditional, nice cosy place to eat. Prices are very reasonable for the quality.
I'd definitely recommend this pub

Came for the first time for Sunday lunch. Staff were lovely and really friendly, great with our little boy. And the food was really nice! Good portion too. Will definitely be back

Stayed here three times now and I can honestly say that the food is exceptional, tried various options and all amazing, beef pie with bone marrow gravy sublime??.duck with aubergine ketchup incredible and tonight lamb with fondant potato and crispy cabbage. Even the breakfast is first class??must visit for anybody locally or passing

Veggie ravioli..tasteless. A 10oz gammon somehow halved in weight between the kitchen and my plate. We went for the early bird 20% off, however even with a 50% discount, it wouldn't have been good value. Clearly, not going back.
