Me and my partner both had a breakfast, the sausage was cheap and nasty, bacon was thin and fatty, whole meal not so hot, definitely won't be having that again, come on Morrisons pull your socks up, no wonder so many of their cafes are closing.

Was served by Steven in the cafe and he was very kind and accommodating, I hope the bosses see this, he's an asset to the company ?

Other reviews that criticise amaze me. It's a cafe! A supermarket cafe, not Michelin star restaurant. It is perfectly adequate for the price and not a gourmet experience ?

Okay. Seems short-staffed these days. Nipped in for fish and chips but out of stock? In a shop that stocks it? Ordered a sort of alternative - do they count the chips these days - they were adrift in a sea of plate.... It's amazing how the cheapest ingredient is always the one that is in short supply. No knives available - cold food whilst waiting, not cheap and not quick either.

It was okay, I had some poached egg on toast and it wasn?t great. The place had almost to no atmosphere. The service was good though.

Had lunch of full breakfast and fish and chips with mushy peas yesterday and there was no coffee ready to the annoyance of several couples plus no way to call anyone to come to the desk for orders. Short of staff? They were working at a pace so perhaps so. Unfortunately, the food was lacking in the preparation as the mushrooms were oily and unevenly cooked, my chips were hard and thin, also the mushy peas dreadful ( also heard from another table. Both they and we left most of it, particularly the fish dinner. I wold say the fried bread on the breakfast had been in the microwave. That was our lunch outKid-friendliness: Just observation

I love the toast there. I went there again and their chicken nuggets and chips were delicious!

4 of us popped in for a brunch. I had the breakfast meal (very nice) all looked freshly cooked and not dripping in fat.Others with me had a Lasagne, nugget and chips. All the meals were very nice, the only thing that let it down was the slow service. Not sure if they were short staffed!Kid-friendliness: Kids welcome to eat in the cafe and Well catered for.Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of space to Manoeuvre a wheelchair or mobility scooter.

I think Morrisons are trying to cut down on their energy bills by cooking with cold heat lol. Everything was cold even my latte and that came out of a machine ?

Date of visit: 06-Oct 22 around 13:30, Order: Ultimate Breakfast.Ordering was simple using the self-service screen, and there was plenty of choice of seating. The staff overall were friendly and helpful. When the meal arrived they had missed out a sausage, however this was promptly rectified when I queried this to a member of staff. Other than that they did correctly serve my customised order (with no mushroom or tomato). The plate presentation was good. Pricing was reasonable, with the "ultimate breakfast" costing 7.99 with an additional 1.29 for a pot of tea.Unfortunately though the food was not all that great. The bacon was overcooked and both very chewy & crunchy somehow? (But they did give 3 rashers not 2 ?). The fried bread was very oily and felt like an explosion of grease in the mouth when eating - I couldn't finish it. The hash browns were slightly undercooked on the inside but acceptable. The black pudding was cooked well and very nice, if not just on the small side for me. The sausages and beans were acceptable while the fried egg was close to perfect.Overall a mediocre experience, it filled a gap let's say. I've had much worse but much better. Wouldn't recommend a trip specifcally to come here, but is ideal for a pre/post-shopping trip meal. - ???
