Store was quiet when I went in (B/Hol.Mon 5:30).
A staff member said a welcome to me, which is indicative of how quiet it was.
Availability of fruit & veg was good. All other aisles were well stocked, apart from some items in the freezer which appeared to have been emptied.
Click & Collect process was very straight forward with a self service terminal & a member of staff bringing the order out within 2 mins.
Till area had self service on only due to how quiet it was.
A nice pleasant experience in my opinion.

Went in today this afternoon because I needed some fruit for my packup for work tomorrow as a nurse, I do normally do my shopping at a supermarket after my 12 hour shift but I've had summer flu!!. My partner was outside with the dog and he got asked 4 times why are you stood here and he even heard the staff on their head sets saying he was being watched!!!!. When I went to the self service tills the same assistant asked if I was ok! I told him I've just come to get some fruit for my packup tomorrow as I'm a nurse and he backed off!!! We are both in our 60's, work full time and have lived in Gainsborough all our lives and do our shopping in Gainsborough but will definitely not be going into M&S again

A small M&S simply food at times offers a reasonable selection of products however it does suffer from poor stocking levels. Called in at around midday on a Tuesday and there were quite a few empty shelves.

I was unable to shop in your store this afternoon due to all the old and run down cash machines. Surely you can have influence on making these machines actually work. You are ,losing custom on the state of these machines. Whether it be the owners of them or the council surely as a major store in Marshall’s yard something can be done regards Angela riddle
