Decided to treat my wife and give her a day off seen as it was Easter Sunday
Wow, what a meal got to the restaurant? 35 minutes before I had booked so we could have some cocktails.
The cocktails was absolutely outstanding. Didn?t realise how long we had been drinking cocktails but there was no rush to go to the table and they just kept bringing us more and more cocktails lol
Decided that we should eat something and we went for the three course Easter special which I?ve got to say was absolutely delicious. The steak that I had was cooked perfectly. My wife?s lamb shank just fell off the bone.
After a couple more cocktails decided to have a pint, which is lovely too
There was a gentleman playing the saxophone. He was absolutely brilliant. Great bloke interacted with the customers did a great job.
The service and staff was outstanding. The lady behind the bar making cocktails did a fantastic job to keep up with me and my wife haha
The cocktails actually tasted like they?re supposed to all home-made with fresh ingredients like mint raspberries She was Top class
The nicest thing I liked there was no time limit no rush at our own pace
Fantastic afternoon drinking some amazing cocktails and eating some delicious food

Came for the mother's day lunch, lovely menu, nice staff and really great food! Not rushed at all despite such a busy day and great price!

Was there for a meal on Sunday for my sister bridal shower. Lovely place and the food is to die for. Can?t thanks the waitress Emily enough, went above and beyond, and met all our needs. Will deffo go back again :)

A table of 7 arrived for afternoon tea today as an early Mothers Day treat which had been booked for weeks in advance. 2 of the party were vegetarians which had rang up and advised this and agreed specifically what was going to be served.
Much to our disappointment this was not catered for.
There were a couple of items missing from the advertised menu.
All in all It was certainly not worth the £25 each.
It then came to light when paying the bill we were then overcharged for a round of drinks by £10, but this wouldn?t have come to light had we not checked the bill.
Just overall disappointed as this was meant to be a lovely Mothers Day treat and all 7 of us walked away feeling disappointed.

Myself and my partner came for Valentine?s Day and had the three-course meal. It was amazing. The food is beautiful and the waitresses are always so accommodating and friendly. We love coming here. ??

Ok. But overpriced imo. Was annoyed as I have a pork intolerance and asked if the burger contained pork. Was told absolutely no pork, but it came with bacon inside, so wasn't impressed.

Very disappointed. Went for breakfast today, sat inside at a table for 15 mins waiting and not a member of staff in sight. Just a workman working in the side room.
Another couple also came in and got fed up of waiting and also walked out. Not acceptable

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal and cocktails today, the 2 young ladies who looked after us were brilliant, friendly, polite and courteous. Looking forward to the next time.

Have been for lunch on a number of occasions and never been disappointed which led to a few of us attending the New Year celebrations - what a great night. Food ,service and entertainment were all top notch and "mine host" was on fine form when he took charge. Best New Year I've had for some time.

I don't get to this establishment as often as I'd like but when I do the welcome is always warm, the service impeccable and the food is amazing. It truly deserves its status as a first class place. A jewel in Gainsborough's crown without a doubt.
