Only nipped in briefly to have a look through the Argos book,with the intention of buying some worx batteries but unfortunately they don't do them,which is a shame really cos I bought the worx strimmer from Argos so thought they would do the accessories

My first (and last) experience in this store today was bizarre. I went in for a click-and-collect order for a game with a certification age of 12. I didn't have ID on me and the manager outright refused to let me have the game, bearing in mind that I am 29 and certainly do not look younger that 12!Quite a baffling experience really - she kept quoting the 'challenge 25' policy when it even said on the till (she showed me) that the customer must have been born before 2011 to be allowed the order.I left the store out of frustration and decided to come back to try again despite the fact that she was being exceptionally unreasonable. I'm not a rude or confrontational person but this really pushed the limits of my patience. She let me have my order eventually after I managed to pull up a random email on my phone that had my date of birth on it. Just following orders?...

Needed to order something but they will not allow dogs despite only nipping in to collect. Can?t leave my dog alone as I am only visiting the area. Shame. Wilko in Marshall?s Yard let dogs in so they?ll get my business.

Sat in the store waiting to collect a product that we can see has been picked and is ready for collection. Ignored by two members of staff, one that decided to put orders away. So we waited ten minutes for a two second job. 3.25pm - I remember customers being quite important when I was a sales assistant ????.

I got a new phone today Motorola E30 doesn't work properly wouldn't recommend buying a phone from argos in Gainsborough as they don't work properly like the Motorola E30 cuts signal automatically even when sim card is in phone

First impressions aren?t great. Not local to the area but I?m assuming theft is a problem? I really got the impression the customers aren?t trusted to have goods on display? It felt like walking into an empty warehouse or a store closure.Staff were friendly, and service was quick. Good job as we got back in the car and sped off in fear of being robbed ?? (joke).

I visited this store to collect an order that i couldnt get from where i live so we nipped to here. The staff were so friendly and helpful. To say of the current situation and to say it was chucking it down outside. Well done the tean what was on Sat 24th Oct what a lovely bunch you all are!!!

Staff outnumbered customs and staff still not proactively wanting to help. Would order online in future as fast track delivery is normally quite good and have never had issues with the drivers although they normally come from Doncaster to deliver!
