We went for a meal and can easily say it was one of the best meals we have had. You certainly get value for money. Definitely going back again. The building itself is full of character and charm and is full of that unique atmosphere that can only be found in old, historic public houses.

Just had our first Sunday Roast here. Oh my.. !!. Absolutely beautiful. Plenty of meat, loads of veg. Great price too. Will definitely be back in the not too distant future. 10/10

Visited for Sunday lunch today, the food was excellent, piping hot and very tasty. Beef was really tender. Service was friendly and really speedy, will definitely return.

Excellent pub food, restaurant section was fully booked so we sat and ate in the bar which was quite cosy but spoilt by a very noisy family playing pool, other diners looked unhappy at the noise level, normally I would have said something, but, as it is not my local I didn't
Parking: Only reason I lowered the stars to 4 was the noisy family, serving and bar staff were excellent. Other members of our family who live locally often eat there and enjoy it.
