“We contacted Grand Designs for a big renovation project that we've been planning for years (kitchen, bathroom, WC, home office, hallway, landing, spare bedroom), and from the second we met Dan for the initial planning chat, we knew Grand Designs was the perfect company for the job. Dan spent a long time going through absolutely everything with us. He didn't make us feel rushed and he took everything we had to say, and all of our ideas, on board. It wasn't long before we were invited to the showroom to go through the designs he had done and they were exactly what we wanted, with a few quirky and very practical additions (pocket doors are the most amazing invention ever!) Dan spent even more time with us discussing each room, each cupboard and every little detail, but not once were we made to feel pressured in to signing anything. We were so impressed from the very start and couldn't wait for the renovations to begin! Sophie was in regular contact with us and kept us up to date with regards to all of the different tradesmen who needed to be at the house and when, how long they'd take and who was doing what. It was all really well planned out and executed, even when we emailed or called to ask if there was any chance of a little change here for there. Nothing was too much trouble! It became apparent very quickly that the Grand Designs tradesmen are the very best of the best. The workmanship and end product is second to none. We finally have our dream kitchen, a gorgeous bathroom and WC, a spare bedroom that's nicer than our own and a fabulous, practical and spacious home office! It is nothing but a pleasure to be in our kitchen now, and we've fallen in love with cooking again! I honestly cannot recommend Grand Designs enough! Dan, Sophie and their incredible team are the best in the business and if we had to do it all over again, Grand Designs would be the only company we'd use. We're even planning on having our music room renovated by them hopefully later on this year.We can't thank Dan, Sophie and the Grand Designs team quite enough for giving us our dream home.
