I am a keen amature photographer of many years. I had a Nikon D810 camera and several Nikkor lenses.
A recent holiday cruise made me realise that the gear I had was really too heavy to carry around I am now rapidly approaching my eightieth birthday. I searched the web and found a Nikon Z7ii which met my needs at Comley Cameras in Cleethorpes.
After a phone conversation with Mark I attended the store.
First of all I must say I was genuinely impressed with the shop a great trange of photographic equipment conveniently arranged and easy to see.
Mark introduced himself too me and U fould him to be a polite persoanble and very knowledgable person.
He showed me the Nikon Z7ii camera and several options regarding lenses.
I found that the combination of the camera and a Nkkor 24-200 mm lens suited me exactly and would reduce the need to carry an array of lenses.
I was happy with the price Mark offered me for my existing kit and the realistic price for the Z7ii.
The deal was done and I must say I was delighted.
When in future I need any photographic eqipment i will give Comley Cameras a call first.
I am a great advocate of the internet, but sometimes it's nice to see things in the flesh so to speak.

Useful and non-pushy advice leading to what will hopefully result in the start of a new hobby. We were advised on various options for our price range, discussed what would be the most suitable type of camera, and shown how to use the product we were interested in purchasing.
At no point did we feel we couldn't walk away and think about it - which for me is absolutely the most important thing when buying from an independent shop like this.

Absolutely over the moon . I?ve just had 2 25 year old vhs tapes transferred onto dvds and usb stick . Now I can treasure them for ever . Brilliant quick service . Highly recommend . Lovely staff excellent service .

Excellent, friendly, courteous and honest service. I took a camera in fir professional assessment fir an insurance claim. Mark spent time checking and established that it was a setting issue. He dud this free and avoided any attempts to exploit an exploitable situation. He made no money from the interaction but happily helped.It makes me realise how we should support such honest local businesses. I popped into the shop today to get some advise on a starter camera to begin my photography journey and the gentleman in the shop (so sorry I didn't get your name), was super helpful and I ended up leaving with my very first camera! thank you so much for your help and advise! I cannot wait to start snapping with my new camera. Excellent service and brilliant shop! Will hopefully be returning in the future!!
