Great hotel with a quirky, well stocked bar, the Hidden Gem. The staff were wonderfully welcoming and friendly, couldn't do enough for all guests, rooms were clean and spacious. We took our dogs who were also welcomed and given lots of fuss and treats. On site parking and very central. We had a brilliant 3 day stay and would definitely recommend ?. Thank you Team Clee!!!

Stayed for a week in the family room the room was spacious. Staff were friendly and helpful. The owner was friendly and apologetic about some noise on one of the nights. Breakfast had everything you needed. Bar was nice and cosy. The children made friends with Murphy the cat. Hotel was clean and towels were changed during the week. A great location to the beach and train station. I will stay again.

An absolute "hidden gem" of a place! We stayed with our 14 year old twin boys in a family room on 9th August. From the check in to check out, it was all so relaxed and friendly. One of my twins has ADHD and learning disability, which we often have to advise when we stay anywhere as it's not obvious to look at my son. We didn't even need to let the staff know, as they were just so lovely and accommodating anyway. The room was extremely clean and spacious to accommodate a family of four. The laid back approach was much appreciated as we have very active boys! The twins made friends with Murphy, the hotel's cat. Breakfast, again, just a lovely and laid back approach. No cooked offerings, but we're a fan of a help yourself continental anyway. Brilliant bar, we were able to bring a pizza in and eat in the bar, play darts and just have a really nice and relaxed evening. Would definitely recommend and we will definitely be back!!

Room was big. However mould and dirty bathroom. Old and dated carpets throughout, threadbare on the stairs. There was a private party in the public bar which went on till 1am. We heard every song, very loud, doors banging! You eat your breakfast off a tray in the bar as no dining room. £40 a night that's not what we expected! Beds were not made on the second day! The pictures are nothing like what we experienced! There is a public bar which they also use for private events, knew nothing about that. Will not go again and don't recommend.

First room was a little small but the manager soon stepped up and changed my room . Top bloke and very helpful. To be honest all is ok with a the hotel and the price is good. People that want a better hotel need to book somewhere that commands a bigger price . This is a budget hotel and good value for the money they charge .

No mention of place being renovated. We were given a room a couple of doors down the road. The building is grim. The room is grim. The mattress on the bed was dead and ready for the tip. The shower room had dirty walls with the paint flaking off. An English hotel only serving continental breakfast in a cramped room. Then eating off trays on cable drums for tables. I don't see anywhere how this place got such good reviews. The picture on this review page is absolutely nothing like we had to endure.

Staff were helpful and kind, and the room was clean on arrival, I would definitely recommend it to friends and othersWalkability: To be fair, it's not that far to walk to the beach or the town centre

Lovely stay, clean and spacious. Bar downstairs. Free breakfast included.Renovations seemed to be in the process, floors and stairs creaked but that is expected, lots of stairs! Room consisted of two single beds neatly and cleanly made, a double wardrobe, dresser with drawers, a chest of drawers housing a tray with kettle, two glasses, two mugs, two bottles of water, a selection of tea and coffee etc, and an information sheet with the WiFi code, a mini fridge.Hairdryer was in a drawer, both beds equipped with two pillows and a duvet and a fleece blanket, two towels and some shower gel.The bathroom consisted of a shower over the bath, large floor area, toilet, bin, sink with mirror and a mirror light. Very large frosted window that I had actually hung a towel from to give extra privacy.Bins were emptied daily, along with tea/coffee/milk etc and towels refreshed apon request. The breakfast was a few cereals, fruit, yoghurt, croissant, pain du chocolate, fruit toast, plain toast, selection of jams, honey and spreads, tea, coffee and juice. The bar was really echoey and bright however once upstairs you couldn't hear the bar too much.We checked in and out and had any questions answered brilliantly by manager Harry.Overall, we shall return and book via the hotel directly to arrange rooms more suited to my family needs.Thank you for having us Harry and co, see you next year!

A really simple review. Value for money? Yes. Clean? Yes. Staff friendly. Yes. Would I stay again? Yes. Really nice night here with my family. Fresh white bed linen & towels. Great bar downstairs & an ample selection on the help yourself, continental breakfast. Good coffee too. Thank you for your hospitality.

My room was large, clean and comfortable. Also warm. My en-suite shower room was light and spacious. I had a nice comfortable chair to relax in. All well and good. I had stated that I was partially disabled. My room was up several flights of stairs. The male owner could see that I was struggling to carry my case upstairs but made no offer to assist me. On arrival I was greeted by extremely loud Punk music blaring from the resident's lounge, which also served as the breakfast room. The 'excellent breakfast' turned out to be a help-yourself affair in the kitchen, of serials and toast, plus tea, coffee etc. Do not expect a cooked breakfast when staying here. I would not recommend this hotel and have no intention of returning.

Very lovely stay. The gent that handed us our keys on reception was very polite and made us feel welcome , room was more inviting then expected, I liked the fact it felt more like a house room then a hotel room makes it more warming. There was even a sofa. Heating was on and kept room very nice and warm and could turn off by the radiator if we wanted so was great. Bottled water, coffee and tea in room with a fridge and kettle. Breakfast was well catered lovely lady helping to serve our breakfast, aware that it?s not everyone?s standard of breakfast but it filled us up for the morning. There is only a few car parking spaces but we did manage to get one and was only a 5 minute walk from the beach so could walk around everywhere once parked up. Overall a great stay and very satisfied especially since everything is so over priced £66 for a comforting respectful hotel right next to the sea can not complain. Thank you Clee Hotel

It's was clean but very very tired ? needs alot of work doing on the property carpet was thread bare in most of the place. Staff was lovely and friendly wish I would have read reviews as I didn't know it was a dog friendly place as dogs make me anxious ? luckly they wasn't near me.

Wow, terrible, it's not a hotel but more like a hostel, breakfast is very simple, coffee is taken fresh from the Humber, water pressure dreadful, too much noise from other residents, never again! A very cheaply run accommodation for a high price and no service.
