We went, with another couple, for Sunday lunch yesterday. Very nice pub and atmosphere. The food was excellent. The roast meats were lovely and tender. Loads of veg, yorkshires and plenty of it. We had one person who could not eat such a large meal so perhaps they could have smaller portions on the menu as an option..
The young lady who served us was very nice. We would definitely recommend this village pub.

Visited on Friday evening , as we were staying nearby , the service was great.
huge portions of food , good quality and tasty!
Must also mention that the chef was so lovely! He Came out afterwards and was smiley friendly!

Lovely meal, haven't been there before. Bit slow on service because they were busy, but worth the wait. My husband had the pie which he said was delightful. I had the ribs which were ok, the triple cooked chips were very nice.
I also had sticky toffee pudding which was lovely. They had no pie left for my husband which was a bit disappointing.

Very tasty, service was very good and food was pipping hot

First time eating here for anniversary meal. Definitely won't be the last. Lovely food and very attentive service. Really enjoyed our visit. Realised it's dog friendly too.

Brought my wife here for a meal whilst on holiday, the service and food was amazing, I?ve been before with my son and was overwhelmed by the food, I had the sea bass both times and what can I say, the Chef is excellent , the pub is wonderful inside and out, well run, a warm welcome and the staff are fantastic, we would recommend you eat here you will not be disappointed, thanks again to the staff for making us welcome.

Really lovely Sunday roast, we had roast beef and Yorkshire pudding, meat was cooked beautifully, veg was just right. Puddings were lovely, tasty and generous portions. Very reasonably priced, staff lovely and friendly. 5* from me.

An amazing dog friendly pub, with superb food. We rang to book a table and said we were bringing the dogs. When we arrived, our table included dog treats and a bowl of water. The locals and the staff were really welcoming.
