Service was ok, food a little bland, group of four of us, food came out at different times 1/2 hr intervals, so one of us finished had finished while one had just started their meal & to top it off the next month when I received my bank statement had been charger twice (+£180) no apologies upon returning to inform them of their error. Needless to say we will not return.

My first visit to Sassi to try their Thai food. Service was mixed as although the young people conducting the waiting were pleasant they were not particularly efficient having firstly went off then came back to be reminded of our order then still bringing the wrong dishes. However once we got our food it proved to be very tasty, authentic and very enjoyable. Anyone can make a mistake so we will return on the strength of the food that is extremely flavoursome but this review would have been a 5 if the waiting had been more professional.

Our first time eating Thai. A small menu but with something for all tastes including vegetarian. The food is well presented although it took a little time to get all the starters and we were only a table of four and it wasn't busy. Our plates arrived and were presumed to be hot but then it took a while before the food was served. it was warm enough to eat but could have been hotter. the portion size was a little small too. The flavours and quality of the food though was excellent.

Visited on a Friday evening and was surprised by how few people dined while we were there. We shared four mains between us plus starters and rice. The food we had was lovely but the portion size very disappointing. One of our mains was an aubergine dish and served on the smallest plate ever. Lovely flavours but left feeling hungry which isn?t ideal. The only dish that was a seasonable portion size was a Pad Thai.

The prawn crackers smelled of old cooking oil. We waited an age for our drinks. We also waited over half an hour for our soup. Which wasn?t worth the wait.The duck pad Thai was full of gristly duck skin and zero duck meat.Tables around us we?re waiting ages for their food. It?s like the chef was cooking a dish at a time.We won?t be back.Very disappointing.

First time eating at Sassi's, celebrating my birthday. Asked for a selection of dishes as there was 4 of us. No complaints. Delicious, excellent. Friendly waitress.

Amazing food as always. I really don?t understand why it?s never very busy inside as the food is the best Thai food you can find locally.

Food was nice but just really small portions. There were only 2 tables in but it took ages to come. I think you would need a couple of dishes per person to be full. Good location in town.

Just had a lovely dinner here for my husbands 50th birthday. We were unsure what to order so the staff brought out a selection of food for us. It was all delicious and reasonably priced. The best meal we have had in a long time. Would highly recommend. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The service was impeccable. A real gem of a restaurant. Thank you for making tonight a lovely evening for us to remember.

Had a great meal tonight. Lovely food good service. We had corn fritters and spare ribs followed by a red and green curry. Really recommend Sassis.
