In June I purchased £120 of white wine. On drinking one bottle it was corked so I returned the bottle to the store explaining this and asked for a replacement. I only had a copy of the receipt but it showed the date and time that I purchased it. The lady on the customer service desk was looking for a sell by date on the bottle but couldn?t find one and kept repeating that I had bought it back in June. She eventually called someone else who came and I had to go through the whole process again and she agreed to replace the bottle. While she was off getting the bottle a lady who i assumed was management ask what the problem was. I explained and said I
felt like a criminal returning a bottle of wine that should have a shelf life of 2years and I was going to buy more wine but don?t think I will bother as I have had so much grief. She did give me a refund as well as another bottle which was great but why did I have to be publicly humiliated to get to that point. After the transaction was finished I walked away and then the pair of them started slating me for returning it and laughing that I had bought something in June only to return it with some wine missing!
It?s a shame as it is a great store and travelled 10 miles to go there but I won?t be returning

They have reduced the shelf contents for large promotions of single products which is frustrating as they have removed products that would be more useful.
The fresh fruit and vegetables are of a high standard.
The bakery has been condensed with a few favourites dissapearing.
The fish counter, deli and hot food counter have been removed with the hot food becoming a self service cabinet.
There are normally a few till open with staff but they rely mostly on the self service tills, baskets and small shops and larger shops or trolleys being coveted by one member of staff. All the self service tills have security cameras.

I have to confess that this is not my grocery shop store. The ranges they stock and prices they charge don't suit my needs plus my wife works for the opposition and webget discount there. That having been said there are some items worth buying. Their cheao cheddar cheese is very good for cooking with if you pick the right one (look for one whose curds have gaps in, not a smooth looking cheese). Some of the pastries are really yummy too but i believe that these are not Sainsburys brand.

I found all the needed items. I had to find a trolley in the car park holding areas, as none were available at the entrance.

Only had to come in yo Sainsburys to use the in store Argos as I had ordered some items. The placement of the Argos store means if you don't want to do any shopping in the supermarket, you've got to walk through all the people being served at the tills which was a little manic. Argos was quiet at about 11am and we were served quickly and courteously. Plenty of disabled parking along the side of the building and plenty of regular bays also.

Friendly staff, fairly easy to find what you are looking for, great the have an Argos inside which you can pre-order and collect,
A downside is the disabled spaces are far from the entrance, although next to the building.
I also get 3% cashback using my uw card

It is a good supermarket. They offer a good variety of food, drinks, toys and gifts. I can buy related gifts during Christmas, Easter, and Valentines Day. The prices are amazing, and they offer Nectar price deals often, which makes me want to purchase it even more. They have a Starbucks, hot food and pastry area which are my favourite areas as the prices are amazing and they offer a wide variety of food. Thank you, Sainsbury's!

Big supermarket with lots to choose from a range of stock. Easy to get to and usually enough car park spaces.
